    we OWN Wakefield so theres NO excuse for us to lose that game..Pettite needs to pitch a solid game and our bats stay alive and we got this ;)

    Looks like Pettitte is getting an early shower. Nice to see the speed game making a difference for the Sox.

    Nice debut so far for Bay. He's 10/21 now off Pettitte for his career.

    Bay has done his job very well, and very quietly.

    True, but the real Red Sox are a better team than the Torre managed "Red Sox West." ;)

    I went to the Phils game yesterday with my dad for his bday and I have to tell you, it's just weird seeing D Lowe, Nomar and Manny as teammates on a different team.

    I saw D-Lowe's first or second game in a Dodgers uniform ... home opener in 2005 for the Giants.

    Now, he had just come off being the first pitcher to get the Win in the Division Series, the League Championship Series and World Series ... I did not get a warm welcoming when I cheered him when he was introduced, even if I was wearing a Sox cap. Giants fans were not amused. ha!

    Yeah, Manny was not treated too well last night. Lot's of chants of Get a Haircut by the Philly faithful. Some Sox fans were booing him too asking him which knee hurt. He didn't look happy in left. Though he did look like he was in his own world half the game.

    They did, but no one really threw that many pitches.

    Lopez, Oki, and Paps will be ready for tomorrow. I would say Masterson too, but as a young kid who was a starter I wouldn't want him pitching two days in a row.
