    yeah, i've about had it. westbrook is one of the best backs in the league and they refuse to run it in situations like this. they deserved to lose with that stupid play calling. i had a feeling when he was returning that punt that if he didn't go all the way it would be for naught...and i was right. it's so frustrating.

    at least mcnabb's return will be a bit more welcome than it would have been after the new england game.

    What's frustrating is that we only really got beat twice this season! Dallas beat us and the first game against Washington( one of the worst football games i've watched). It could be much worse here in philly. I think the Eagles are a better team than their record indicates, and aren't as far behind as people have been saying.

    my only problem with all the "give Westbrook the ball" calls is that they gave Westbrook the ball 3 out of 4 plays on the 1 yard line and didn't get any points... if your offensive line can't push the defense back 1 yard to allow Westbrook to get a TD then they're being outplayed.

    The ball has been bouncing the other way all season. McNabb didn't wanna throw ball! Yea his legs looked alot better buying time, but shit you gotta pull the trigger! I can't believe nobody could get open with all the time. I might be a little bias in saying this, but Brian Westbrook is the best player in football! He won't win the MVP but he better be considered.

    hmmmm throw the ball to recievers who couldn't get any separation.. yeah we saw what happened when AJ did that, 7 picks in 2 games. I don't know if its the recievers or the game plan but no one was getting open yesterday

    It was the recievers, I saw some herendous routes! But McNabb has to trust his arm, and take a chance once in a while. It's one of the strongest in the NFL. Looks like his confidence is shot.

    if the recievers aren't open then how is McNabb's confidence shot by not throwing the ball to them??? That makes no sense. It's not like he has guys who go up and fight for the ball (see Lewis' pass to LJ Smith, where Smith was moving away from the play instead of coming back for the ball). Why should McNabb just throw the ball up ala Favre when his recievers clearly don't battle for balls?

    The receivers aren't creating great seperation, but there are windows and opportunites for McNabb to deliever an accurate ball. your talking about Greg Lewis

    that makes no sense the eagles got beat 8 times so far. thats the sad truth. westbrook is basically the only reason they won five games. giants scored just as many points this time as last time but the eagles scored a TD in this game, guess who put those extra 7 points on the board? without westbrook it would have been 16-3 again, maybe not even, maybe the eagles wouldnt have got either FG yesterday.

    westbrook=90% of the eagles offense.

    I look at a lot of things from a players perspective. you and most people try to sound like some educated fan. The Eagles every week are one play and a few mistakes from beating every team they face. Yes, good teams find a way to win games, but the eagles are frustratingly close. Without Westbrook? he's on the team asshole he play's for the Eagles. Without Plaxico you guys wouldn't have 7 points. that makes no sense. If your a Giants fan, I'm sorry but your team is highly overrated and will be no threat in the NFC playoffs.

    those windows would close before the ball left McNabb's hand. And yes I mentioned a Lewis pass but was talking about the reciever's effort to get to the ball. The Eagles don't have recievers who fight for balls in the air, except maybe Curtis but he's been inconsistent this year.

    yes, we lack a playmaker at wideout (which better be a position pursued in the offseason) but McNabb in the past would succeed with average talent at wide reciever.Defend McNabb all you want..... It's obvious these injuries got the best of em'. I always liked McNabb, and it's unfortunate how his once promising career turned out the way it did.

    he's the winningest qb in the eagles history...
    and sure he never won the big game, but he's been to a superbowl and how many nfc championship games?? you talk as if he became some no-name qb that no one has ever heard of! plus his career isn't over!
