    the overdose returns to philly on sunday, adding incentive for the eagles. :) dallas aren't really all that good, and philly haven't played up to their potential, so an eagles win wouldn't be very surprising. at least i will finally get to watch the game!

    dawkins is back and mcnabb is 6-1 vs. dallas when playing in philly, won 9 of the last 12 he has started agianst them, and philly has won 11 of the past 14 overall. after mcnabb's fine performance last week, i think he'll put in another one this week.

    the big question is...how many balls does the overdose drop?

    shitty. i fell asleep during halftime, but the eagles were already down 21-7. i think i saw the final was 38-17. i'm disappointed that they couldn't pull out the win against a team like dallas. with the losses within the division, we'll have to hope for a shot at the wild card now i would think. at least the rest of the division has been inconsistent as well, although their records do not reflect the poor play in some of the games i've seen. losing a few to open the season is uaually no surprise for eagle's fans, but they tend to find a groove after that. it doesn't seem to be happening this year, sadly...but anyway...

    Also, in all the years I've watched these two teams play, I've never seen the Eagles defense look so lost. Blown coverages and bad tackling and getting burned on the blitz. Just didn't look the same.

    oh please, he was playing until the whistle and hit him in the head - i don't think his intention was to hit him in the head like thatl. Did it end up being dirty because of the result, yes, but not enough to be thrown out of the game - I've seen much worse.

    at least then haven't had to put in a rule because of one of players is so dirty: see horse-collar mr. Roy Williams.

    Whistle or no whistle you can't lead with the crown of your helmet into someone else's head. And whether or not he meant to hit Jones in the head, he did lead with the crown of his helmet.
