The Spurs are the lunch pail team, they came to town to work and got the job done.

Now it's time the Celtics win one on the road.

    Celtics all the way baby.

    Peace

Well this will be the first time I've rooted for the Lakers for a long time. God I hate the Spurs. Hopefully LA wins so we have an exciting championship series. Go Celtics!

    I guess go Pistons

    SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!
    NERDS!
  • Celtics baby!!

As for the Spurs, my money's been on them to come out of the west since mid season. Still think they'll take the Lakers.

2 awesome series ready to rock tomorrow night!!

    Let's go C's, get us #17!!

Celtics and Spurs would be interesting, as much as the world wants to see C's and Lakers.

Celtics are in big trouble. Ray Allen needs to wake up.They have to win at least one on the road, cause you know Pistons will get 1 on their court.

    Pistons in 6

Spurs have played, and survived a great story, and up and coming team in the Hornets.Lakers cant play any D, last I checked Spurs know how to shut teams down when they need to.They will not be effective on Parker and Ginobli's drive to the hoop, like the Hornets were.

Ray Allen is done. He was done before the C's got him. I never understood the big 3 logic when one of the three was Ray Allen.
I'm a huge Piston fan and think they take this in 6 as well. I think they take game one tonight. I am way too excited for the game tonight!!

Never underestimate the champs should be the 2008 NBA Playoffs slogan. I think the west goes 7 though. Spurs in 7.

I think the Pistons go in and steal Game 1 tonight, and then the C's even it up on Thursday night. My call is Detroit in 6.

And as much as I don't want to see the Lakers get to the Finals, I think they're going to beat the Spurs.

Detroit looks tough, and more importantly they look hungry. I can't help but think of the finals a few years ago when everyone thought the Lakers were going to handle them.
I love Kevin from way back and I'm happy to see him playing so well, but I don't think it's the Celtic's year.
  • Detroit can definitely beat Boston but they still can't beat San Antonio. In some ways, I think SA looks better than they have in previous years! Wish it wasn't so. But Stones definitely will take the Celts.

BWWWAAAHAHAHAHA. Ah. That was so much fun! I've never experienced such pure joy as when the Pistons beat the almighty Lakers. Kobe cried. It was great. Sorry, I'm not a rub-it-in-your-face type, but I was so sick of the Lakers.

game 1 of the WCF in on now. Phil Jackson vs Gregg Popovich. 2 of the greatest coaches of our time. led teams to 10 championships in the last 10 seasons combined.

great game tonight. if the lakers lost this game, they were going to be in some serious trouble. im glad they won, i hate the fucking spurs so much. they are dirty, annoying, and a bunch of crybabies. i also dislike the celts and the pistons very much. i never thought i would be rooting for the lakers to win a championship, but here i am...go lakers!

Why would I be a C's "hater" if I've lived in Michigan for every one of my 33 years and following the Pistons since 1980 (pre-Isiah, BTW)?? The whole "everyone is out to get us" attitude is getting kinda stale for the Celts fans, don't you think?

We'll see what happens tonight. And I'm still not exactly sure why it's easier to win in Detroit than in Cleveland or Atlanta... If this thing goes back to Detroit 1-1, then I'm not going to be very worried.

good news: Ray Allen's slump is over. he is back to his All-star form with 25 pts on 9-16 shooting.

bad news: celtics lost. first home loss in the playoffs. they are in big trouble. they gonna need to win one in detroit.

Pistons got the split in Boston... that's all I wanted to see. Now they just stole home-court advantage and the C's are going to do what they haven't done in 6 tries in the playoffs: win on the road.

Tough loss, but Detroit played hard. Let's hope they can pick up 1 of the next 2.
