Wow that was easy, but it'll only get tougher... nice win.

    Are we saturday yet?

The hit from Hamrlik on Lucic; hmmmmm
Hey grandma, long time no talk!
That hit was awesome. Begin had a real good one too.
Did you see Lucic go after Komi's hip?

Kovy looked a little off last night, hope he rebounds for tomorrow and does a little Chara-embarassing...

The 'hey hey hey, goodbye' singing 5 minutes into the first period was frickin' hilarious.
  • RygarRygar Posts: 8,685
This team currently looks nothing like the one that finished in first. Unless they get going the golf course is coming fast...

I have to give the habs fans credit. Great vibe at the Bell, the best atmosphere in hockey hands down. Big numbers cam down to boston for the game last night. Not the result you were looking for but- good effort. It was comical seeing the red shirts file out of the building after Savie's goal. Its far from over. We will see what the next game brings.

It was even more comical seeing an army of red shirts in Boston.

That was funny. When Chara touched the puck and the boobirds started,I had to check to make sure it was in Boston.

Kovy's had a great year. In this series he is being effectively neutralized by the Boourns, and he also looks off his game...

hehehe, it's also fun to see the fans actually get along in the crowd, mind you any shenanigans that are going on aren't making the press if they are

Wings are my team, but The Habs are second.
    Where is that #1 powerplay.
    1 for 18 so far?
    That won't work.

Just as it was inevitable for the B's to break the spell, it's also inevitable for the PP to start clicking.
    Koivu's return wouldn't hurt....

I just find it funny that a Boston thread that has been dead for like 2 months now is reborn by a single victory
    London 2005
    Toronto 2011 night 2
    Hamilton 2011
    London 2013

He is being evaluated Wednesday, so possibility for Thursday (unlikely though). It'd be good if we could get back on track and finish the bruins off without him, let him heal up.

    Habs Up 3-1!!!!!!!!!
This series has been very exciting, despite a game and a bit of sub-par play.

We can put 'em away tomorrow in Montreal, yup.
Whether we win or lose, we have to get our offense going. Can't win 'em all 1-0....
Good game by the Flyers last night.

If things go as planned....we would face you guys

The Flyguys have looked good so far

Briere is playing his best hockey right now

The back checking of the forwards has been outstanding

Should be a good series if things pan out that way. We're playing a pretty high tempo game, and our defensive play and goaltending have been good enough to get around a lack of scoring (so far).

Carey Price is playing remarkably, as well.

Hopefully tonight is the night we finish off those Boourns so we can get some rest and practice...

But as usual they prove me wrong.
The only thing worse than the refs tonight was the play of Mtl. If you're going to play like that boys, better out than in.

They were sitting around through most of the game (although outshot the Boourns by a noticable amount in the third (the period the Boourns got their goals, no less)).
The Price was definitely wrong last night.
If Boston wins game 6, they're going to win game 7.

Interesting to note that when the Bruins play a superb game the perception of the Montreal fans is that of "Habs did not play well, standing around".

Uh Oh. Momentum swing. Expect a game 7 back at the bell.

Interesting to note that when the Bruins win their fans think they played a superb game. Other than the goaltending, Bruins didn't look much better than the Canadiens last night, sorry.
