leafs, miller is another ifl acquisition. think i have seen him fight once? before but i don't remember much about him that stood out. kimmons beat rob yundt in his ufc debut by guillotine choke. seems like he likes to power his way into submissions and he went for a few during the fight with yundt. he says in his interview this time that he'd like to stand with miller, but his record would indicate to me that he's just doing some talk there. most of his wins are by sub. so, in other words, i don't know much about them either. i'm just going with the guy not making his debut in that one. i'm in agreement with you on the others.

i'm seriously considering changing my pick to Danzig by unanimous decision.... but i can't get to ufc.com from work, so i'm stuck!

we are opposite on a lot of them! we'll just have to wait and see what happens, and see if you have to give up your crown to MOI!!

schafer just finished houston after a very exciting round. houston hurt him early with what appeared to me to be a couple of knees to a grounded opponent while schafer was shooting. schafer eventually got the fight to the ground but had houston in his guard after losing a heel hook. he took some of houston's punches there but houston stood back up. schafer went for takedown after takedown, finally landing one mid-round and it was all downhill for houston from there. schafer landed some big punches and elbows from full mount and eventually secured a beautiful arm triangle. only 10 seconds left in the round!

...was just watching the replay and i didn't hear eric schafer say into the camera's microphone after his win..."that was for evan tanner, my hero. believe!" pretty cool of him.

i'm surprised ed is keeping this standing for the most part. he's holding his own on the feet, though. round one to ed, probably round two to belcher.

tough last round to score. belcher kind of landed a spinning back forearm and landed a big head kick. he got the better strikes in, but ed got two takedowns and full mount at the end with some big ground and pound. might have to give it to herman.

good fight. mac looking technically sound at the beginning of both rounds, but clay finishing both rounds strong with takedowns. big suplex and rnc attempt to finish the second. both rounds to clay, i think.

clay wore him down in the third and completely controlled mac. should be a decision for him, probably all three rounds. pretty good fight. the pace slowed a bit in the third, but overall a good one. clay's takedowns and control were just too strong for mac as this one went on.

big win for clay! frustrating loss for mac. two judges gave him the first...which is where he had the best chances to try to finish the fight.

great first round! excellent grappling. neer controlled the first half of the round. nate mostly controlled the second half. tough one to call.
