Looking at your guys picks, i think ceg is right with the UD for chuck, but i still had to go with KO.
I also think Mookie might be right with the pellegrino pick, i think he will take the 1st round, but i think tavares will take the 3rd. If it goes to decision, I think it comes down to the 2nd and if kurt tires early, i think it'll be tavares' round. I also think tavares could win by sub in the 3rd though.
And sorry guys, i hope i'm wrong, but, i think jason is getting beat up.
good luck to you too, leafs.have to say i think bias came into play on the pellegrino pick, as i always enjoy watching his fights. tavares is exciting to watch too, so it should be a great matchup. coin flip i thought on that one, so i went with kurt...bias.
jason lambert is getting beat up, you mean?0 -

I was looking up for info on the Kimbo-Shamrock fight, didn't realized that was a different promotion.reminds me of the old WCW/WWF days, sadly wrestling has been dead for the 6 years:( ...now been trying to convert to MMA.
as it's getting closer i'm starting to like the card more. i think i need an mma fix.still hoping to see some of the pre-lims. there should be a few very good fights there.
yeah, the kimbo vs. shamrock fight is happening in elitexc. here's the info on the card for the event so far. it's free on cbs, which is always a good thing!the rest of the televised card is pretty solid, so if people are tuning in for the kimbo vs. shamrock fight, at least they should get to see a few decent matches as well.

I'm going with Rashad Evans of the Ice-man. I think he's got the natural ability, speed and strength, improved with each fight, but the one thing that makes me pick him is his ackwardness. He's kind of ackward to fight, but if Chuck just has to lay back and counter, then that won't matter. No one better sitting back and wailing to victory. Great fighters always go to their strengths...wish I could see the fights, on the road, and my hotel doesn't have the fight. Enjoy."Music, for me, was fucking heroin." eV (nothing Ed has said is more true for me personally than this quote)

<enthusiastically waves> Hi mookie!
Maybe I can actually win one of these events this time. And I made sure Shamrocks Twin did his picks this time.
How is the tooth doing? All fixed now, I hope.0 -

Ya the more i think of it, the more i think rashad has more of a chance than i was giving him. I still think it's going to be a KO win for Chuck, but i could easily seeing it come out with a decision for rashad."I'll ride the wave where it takes me"
