good morning guys!! sorry i wasn't online last night... i talked my sister into watching the event with me. Since my computer is in the basement, i didn't feel i should be running up and down to chat with you guys and leave her to watch alone... she wasn't all that enthusiastic about it in the first place.... hahaha...
i left mookie a message on his answering machine... i was hoping he might have heard it and passed on the message...
sorry about the Tanner fight, mook! :( wow! evan looked in great shape! but okami was huge! i had no idea he was that big a guy... i like the Team Tanner shirt though! can't wait to see it in person!
ReleasH, you must be happy about the Fitch win! Wilson gave him a run for his money! oh, and i did see Roger in the crowd.... he's so pretty. oh! and i love that pink The Bully shirt.... it's awesome... you've gotta get it!
and yes, congrats to leafs4ever on the fantasy win! i'll get my title back on the next one!
submission by tickling, eh? you have much to teach your sister! sorry i had my phone shut off during the show, ceg. i got your messages, so thanks for the thoughts on evan's fight. his hands looked good coming out, then his inside leg kick was working for him, but it looked like he got lost in between rounds and it was downhill from there. i'm hoping he can pick up a win next time out and fight more of his style of fight. congrats to okami, though, and he should get his title shot now.
...speaking of title shots, let's hope it's fitch vs. st-pierre next!
I think Kongo got ripped off. A good card overall, But I wanted to see the Nightmare and AA kick some ass.
thought so too, lbc. i think everybody wanted to see those matches...it sounded from the reviews like diego came out like an animal, and andrei showed incredible takedown defense and finally got the tko win.
let's hope they get all the issues worked out with a new contract for arlovski, as i don't see any other viable opponents at the moment for big nog. kongo would have made sense, if not for the judges!

hehe... i don't know, i think she's on to something!!
her other plan was to suffocate her opponent by dousing herself in cheap perfume... (we had just returned from a trip to Shoppers Drug Mart, where we tried on a bunch of perfume )
yah, she wasn't really into the fights... but at least we were having a few laughs...
oh! she also got a kick out of Cheick, because one of her nicknames is Kongo!
~~*~~ ...i surfaced and all of my being was enlightend... ~~*~~
right now i have to say no, he is just too damn good. I mean, he just made Dan freaking Henderson tap out in the 2nd round, that's just scary. On the bright side, i have learned my lesson to never bet against him again.
The Novotel looks really nice, i was trying to get a place at La Tour but it looks to be sold out. So now i'm looking at either the novotel or the residence inn, kinda of leaning towards the latter because it has a kitchen and i could save a little cash.
So far it's looking like all canadians expect for 1 fight. The only fight i'm hesitant about is the Quarry/Starnes fight. Things can always change though, but so far it's looking like a good night for the canucks.
