The Stansted express to Liverpool Street takes about 30 minutes. A return ticket to come back the next day will cost you about £25. The train runs right from under Stansted airport. Then take the Metropolitan line train from Liverpool street to Wembley, which will take about 20 - 30 minutes. Simple.

Probably not; unless you are travelling between midnight and five you should be alright.

I booked the Euro Wembley hotel, it's only 2 star but it's £90 for 2 nights & is by the Arena, so I'm happy!! The cheapness & closeness was most important to me

Good call! At leat you'll have nothing to worry about when the band plays WAY over curfew to the point where the tube has stopped for the night. :)

    Where from?

A taxi from Wembley to Stanstead would cost well over £100.

We land in Stanstead on the day of the show at around 9.10am. So would it be best for us to get a bus to Wembley? I ain't forking over loads and loads for a taxi.
Or is the tube the best bet?

Scored tickets today! My housemate, who, like me, is registered partially sighted advised me that Wembley actually has a dedicated helpline for the likes of us... so I phoned it and now have a stupid grin and 2 tickets in N12. Was quite close in Dublin and I have the other two shows to get closer so it's cool!

Two miles wouldn't take that long to walk, in all honesty.

We're staying at the Hilton in Edgware Road. Not exactly near the arena but we wanted to stay somewhere more central than Wembley and it's on the tube line.

are you SURE it's on the 19th your flight? why on earth did you book that one? you have 2 entire days to get to Düsseldorf!

Taxi or coach from Victoria Station maybe. that's it, no other solution.

    Why??
Because I need 3 nights - Sat, Sun, Mon .. Saturday night is £80!!..
Plus it's 2 ½ miles away from the arena.. ½ a mile from the nearest tube station and not a direct route to Wembley

I was booked in there but changed to the Premier Inn at Harrow .. it's literally "over the road" from Kenton tube station and 600m from another tube station that goes direct to Wembley Park (just 2 stops) ... and £86.50 p/p for the 3 nights works out cheaper for me :)

    You did ask ;):D
