what im saying is you have it all wrong that you think i live in a perfect world or happy all the time just becuz i dont post sadd things or depressed threads or becuz i dont complain and etc. My life is FAR from perfect and happy. I like to listen to them, in fact I even went as far as taking up for a "certain" person and when "they" didn't post for weeks I thought something happened to "them". I know I can ignore the depressing threads and I did for a LONG time...so I just had to say something...no big deal, those of you that didn't agree with me let me know and those who did agree with me also let me know! and the whole "i dont have time to be depressed " thing just does not apply. for some its not as easy as just saying i have to do this or be that for other people or themselves because the depression hampers the ability to think in a rational way. thats all i was saying. is that for some, its alot harder, and for some, its not even within their ability to do so.
this captures my feeling about this whole thing. sometimes people think it is something one can 'snap out of'. and the fact of the matter is sometimes you just can't. i guess it just calls for a little bit of understanding and compassion
and also realizing that people post for different reasons. some do because they need feedback or an objective ear. some just for the hell of it. some do for attention, and that can go for depressing as well as happy threads.
there are plenty of options for whatever type of thread one is looking for and i figure one can't appreciate light without a little bit of darkness, really.
i'll take a depressing post from someone truly in need, whether simply to just vent, get it *out there* or looking for advice ANYday over people who post simply to be an asshole. i hate assholes, particularly assholes who wouldn';t dare to be so nasty/assholish in your face...cowardly internet assholes.

Twas my reply to you, I know people have it tuff, and in some cases cant cope, but sometimes it helps to have people around you that can, people you can trust. 1: Long rd and cate are always saying people can think and do as they can its their choice, but that only aplies to heroin usage, depressed feelings and suicide, we cant feel happy and great and enjoy life and be there for others? Without being made fun of,thats double standards, and double standards are somtehing that you can get rid of and live happier without. Though I didn't get into details of what things occurred during that same week. I just think it's ironic that I had positive things happened the same week PJ announced the tour. I didn't tell the non-PJ stuff that happened so it came off as if PJ saved me or something, which isn't the case.
I was like that for nearly 5 months before PJ's tour announcement. Somehow my situation began to look brighter that same week that the "tweet" was announce. It's like a fucking miracle from Pearl Jam or something. Can't explain it.

yes i do say tis people's choice when it comes to what they do and what they think. and i make no apology for having said it. i have never said it only applies to doing dope, suicide or being depressed. besides the fact that depression is not something someone would choose to be given a viable alternative.
