ass threads on here lately? Seriously, I'm fine with some here and there and have even participated in one or two......but all the damn time?! What the fuck is wrong with some of you??? :confused:

    Like all message boards, you just need to sift through the weeds to find the posts worth reading. You can't solve everyone's problems in real life to begin with, and I'm certainly not going to try and do it here. That is entirely not why I come here.

    i just glanced over the first page here on AET...couple 'depressive threads'...but a lot more that are happy, or at the very least neutral topics. it's all what you choose to focus on. and sure, some people are happiest when they are miserable...and like to share it too. :p

    the last couple days have actually seemed pretty happy and headed in the right direction compared to how it was a couple months ago.

    I think some people see here as a safe place to offload and share their worries is all :)

    People often want advice and an objective point of view. Here they can be fairly anonymous, in a way they might not be able to with family and friends.

    We just need more happy threads to balance it all out :) Of course when you're TOO happy that depresses some people (or just plain pisses them off) so you can't win anyway :p We all have our "favorite feelings" sadness, anger, happiness, jealousy, annoyance etc...and probably tend to post based on them.

    THIS is true; all about balance. :)
    although as someone else mentioned, i think the overall *mood* here recently has been GOOD! i think more sunshine, longer days, pj shows on the horizion, etc....all mood-brighteners.


    and you're right *too* much of either - not good! i think *extremes* tnd to be VERY annoying, whether too happy, or too sad. although i am a fairly hppy person overall, i do have quite an evil streak....so i'm gonna say i find *too happy* people way more annoying. depressives, we all can relate a wee bit, or at the very least feel sorry for em. the too happys of the world, most of the time, just want to punch em in the face. :D


    altho i will say for *fave feelings*....while i agree too true...it's SAD to think for many, their faves are feeelings of depression, sadness, bitterness, anger. life's too short!

    agreed.
    my post in no way was *dictating.* it is merely my personal perspective that feeling miserable all the time would be, well, miserable. :p obviously, some people are *happy*...? feeling that way all the time. i'm not telling them to change...just saying it's not how i'd want to be. and i agree, anyone *too* happy...i find weird as well. as i said, either extreme, especially often, just doesn't seem *healthy*...but whatthefuckever! :D
