Two in a row! They seem to be coming together as a team. The top three lines all were rolling. I only wanted to crosscheck Eminger in the face once or twice this afternoon. Biron isn't fighting it so much either.
One thing I've liked all season is their willingness to keep playing the game. They don't give up after a goal the way they did two years ago.
They're doing the right things now. Forwards are backchecking. D are clearing the crease so the goalies don't have to fight to get every puck. I was really impressed with how they got their sticks in lanes last night. Forcing turnovers. Both goaltenders seem to have some confidence. Not taking as many penalties. Still taking the body. And still scoring.
I have hope.
5-4 loss to the Oilers but our offense is still proving they can score from anywhere...man these guys are good...if only we put together the defense to match!
I think the asking Price (haha) for Halak might be a bit more than what you guys will want to give up, but you never know I guess.
I'm unfamiliar with Pavelec.

Ondrej Pavelec is a Thrashers prospect. Came over to play junior hockey in the Q rather than stay in Europe. (C'mon Rygar, you don't know every player in the Q? What kind of Nova Scotian are you?)
Highly regarded, but stuck behind Lehtonen. He was not happy after not making the team this camp. I think he's a better idea than Halak because we have a history of fleecing the Thrash in deals, and we have NO goalie prospects in the pipeline.

I like Metro. He's versatile. That line's been on fire since Briere went down.

I may flip to it during commercials
Their schedule is brutal to start the season
Although with some effort they could have won 3 of those games

Thanks, man. Just for that, I'm sending bad vibes out to Saku Koivu so he pulls a Legace, and trips on a carpet during the pre-game puckdrop.
At least pick someone else, Saku's been through enough
Fair enough. Kovalev, then, that bastard.

Now, time to move on to the Phils for a few days!
Is the ship righted or is this just temporary ??
Its going to take time with the new D-Man...they're young and new to the Flyers system

Meh. Just don't like 'em. I mean they're second in the league in goals scored, they just need to get some consistent play from the defense and goal.
He'll be ok...I'm not worried about him..I just want our defense healthy
