Not speaking ill of the dead but who has a memorial service 3 weeks after a person dies ?
I don't blame the guy for not coming to this..but the excuse is strange
I believe the excuse... it is common to have a funeral and then a few weeks or even month or so later have a memorial for the person where all their friends and family can get together and "memorialize" the person's life after the duties of funeral and burial are finished.

Anyone following prospect camp? There isn't even much talk over at the HF Boards. I know we did get smoked 7-0 by the Caps prospects today.
I'm having surgery tomorrow, which sucks, but the byproduct is my folks are bringing me down to take care of me in Philly for the next little bit. If I can see through the painkillers, I'm thinking of going out to catch a little training camp in Voorhees.
We are definately kicking butt in the preseason...lets hope it continues into the regular season
I see ESPN the mag is picking the friggin Pens and Caps for the conference this year...wow..they are really going out on a ledge
Never pay any attention to ESPN when it comes to hockey, though they did make a stellar move by picking up Pierre LeBrun to write for the website.
The Hockey News picked us to go fourth in the Conference. That seems reasonable.
Loved watching yesterday's game. Perfect moment with Snider presenting Richards with the C in front of all the old captains, and then Richie going out and scoring 2 shorthanded goals. I love this kid. I have some more thoughts on my very modest blog: http://neutralzonedoubt.blogspot.com/

216A row 9 I think.. all you can eat seats lol... actually wanted a Lexus club package since its my uncle's birthday but they were sold out.. and all you can eat was only section where they had 3 seats together.

I have season tickets in 216 row 1, but am not sure if I will be able to make it to the opener...

One of the top 3 captains and top 5 players this organization has ever seen.

Top 5 players, sure. But Top 3 captains? Ahead of Clarke, Primeau or Poulin? Hell, I'd take Jason Smith again before Big E.
