    That Chickie's & Pete's was so packed. I could barely make out what songs the band was playing. Is there anything in Philly more overrated than Chickie's & Pete's? Not even Geno's...

    I walked to the fringe, listened to a minute, and then walked away.
    Yeah, no desire to wait at C&P when there was no line at the kosher kiosk.  That pastrami Sammy (saeurkraut crushed peppers and russian) is as good as anything else they are serving in the building.  Kid wanted a steak, pretzel, and fries...so I got that at the regular stand.  F C&P.  Crabbing fries with melted cheese is good, rest is not.

    Apparently they trademarked "crab fries" that have not a shred of crab meat in them. What a joke. People waste away hours waiting for that crap at games - it's nuts.

    Went to game last night.  Oilers were stuck in 1st gear....Gritty dominated.  Surprise, but Torts had them playing smart hockey.
    Sat upstairs - got free tickets as part of the Gritty 5K entry for my son and I, tomorrow morning 
      Gotta say it was not too bad, sitting up with the common folk.  :lol:
    Except for the stupid lady sitting behind us that ran a play by play critique of an excellent Flyers game plan-- giving the exact opposite (and highly negative) commentary.  One of the morons who yells "shoot" as soon as the team enters the zone....and who boos passing.   Those fucking idiots sit in all sections, though.  Not sure why they go to hockey games when they know nothing about the sport.

    2nd level at the FU Center you can see fine. It's just a little acrophobia with how steep it is up there.

    sexual assault issue from 2018 world juniors coming to the forefront in the next few days possibly?  hopefully not but 2nd player from the junior team under question also took a leave of absence from his team today. not good. not good at all

    That game yesterday against the Rangers was something. Pretty much outplayed them and they got lucky on their goals, IMO. Also that fight was pretty brutal between Deslaurius and Remke. Fun game nonetheless. Hopefully they bounce back today against the Pens
