A lot of defensive breakdowns but Booooooooooooooch kept them in it

Pronger has elevated his game..unbelievable the way hes been playing..I really like the way they have been putting him in front of the goalie on the PP

They brought this guy back for the intermission analysis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXASyW7HuoA

He will always be a Flyer

I didn't even realize carter was on the ice in game 2 until he allowed his guy to score the GW goal.

Carter was minus-3 in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Devils, and he has just one goal in his last eight playoff games over the last two seasons.

    HA!

It is nice to once again have a coach that can win the team games. Hasn't been the case since Hitch left. Laviolette is schooling Lamiere (sp?) in this series so far.

Marty is a beast in goal. always takin away the bottom of the net and forcing high shots that the opponent can't get off because Marty is a foot from the puck.

couple dozen more penalties yesterday would have been nice. didn't seem like we had enough.

    Washington can take 'em.

Up 2-1 on the Devils, can't argue with that.

that's why I'm not the biggest hockey fan. I think the refs have too much influence on the outcomes of games. And a lot of stupid rules in hockey (high stick w/blood is 4 mins, slash that breaks a stick is automatic penalty, fight in last 5 mins is a misconduct, etc).

I'm not one to complain about officials/refs (it's part of the game...and I hate instant replay), but they were terrible yesterday...both ways. too many tic tac calls. it's the playoffs for christ sake...they should only be calling blatant stuff. let the players determine the outcome

32 minor minutes plus 30 mis conduct minutes. after 30 minor minutes the last game. lot of borderline, ticky tack and blown calls

So i was pissed off because here in Toronto. TSN was showing the games but it wasn't on yesterday. so went to a bar and had a great drinking night with about 6 flyers fan who I didn't know. keep it going Flyers. If they play like this, the flyers can beat anyone.

i read someplace that Carter and Gags will miss game 5.

Gags got smacked in the ankle and didn't return, so that wouldn't suprise me. But Carter was playing at the end. :?:

    sad but true....uh oh
VOORHEES, N.J. (AP)—Flyers forwards Jeff Carter(notes) and Simon Gagne(notes) have been ruled out for Thursday night’s playoff game against the the New Jersey Devils.

Philadelphia general manager Paul Holmgren said in a statement Wednesday that both players hurt their right foot during Tuesday night’s game. They are listed as day-to-day.

Carter led the team in goals with 33 during the regular season, and has two goals and an assist in the playoffs. He missed eight games toward the end of the regular season with a fractured left foot.

Gagne has two assists in four playoff games, helping the Flyers take a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference series.
