I'm so disgusted by this franchise that I don't even want to watch them anymore. What they pulled on Saturday is ridiculous and embarrassing. Someone tell Ed Snider that the 70's ended 34 years ago. He needs to go. To kill snake, you cut off the head.

How did no Caps come to Holtby's aid and how did the ref let Emory just pound away like that?
    Alright, alright, alright!

Emery should never be allowed to play hockey again

he played his best game last night. looks like the key to the flyers winning is to score 3 goals. Big game against the pens today. I hope they have some gas left over from last night

maybe, I still think this team is much better than they have played so far.

our defense is not bad and would be considered better if they were not so high paying. our goaltending has been very good.

Offensively, we have to get better. I still wonder if claude is playing hurt.

I've thought about that with Claude. They could be better but when you play THAT poorly, it's hard to be optimistic. Goalie has been the biggest bright spot minus Emery's assault.

The good vibe from the Sixers is oozing all over the the Flyers and Eagles now.

They still look a lot slower than most teams.

i don't know if they are slower. the forwards are still pretty fast. the d is playing more positional. in the 3rd period yesterday they really slowed it down and limited the pens to one shot and then out.

Nice win today. Ugly but a big two points

Like the way theyre playing (esp since they got downie back...love that dude). Still think they make playoffs

Id lock up mason long term now. Hopefully theyre not gunshy after the bryzaster.

I dont think giroux was 100% healthy at start of season. You could tell by his stickhandling and hesitancy to shoot (esp wrist shots). His wrist surgeries were an underreported story imo. Looks like he is getting more comfortable. Close to being back to normal. I hope he sits out olympics...if he does i think hes primed for a huge finish to the year
  • Displaced Flyers fan living in Minnesota. We have tickets to the game tonight against the Minnesota Wild. And then we hop on a plane Thursday for Pearl Jam in Seattle on Friday.

Going to be a hell of a week!
    You will try.

if Giroux doesn't pick it up in December no way they are taking him. agree though on the wrists and possibly even the finger this year having a negative impact.

have heard some talk that Mason could end up making the USA team if Jonathan Quick isn't healthy. Mason has been awesome. as good as goaltending the Flyers have had since Hextall.

I had a late night Tuesday. Felt like hell yesterday. I watch into the 2nd Red Wings get those two quick ones, I decide to go to sleep.

Eating breakfast, I grab the phone and flip thru twitter. I just rifle thru because it was a PJ show night and I get 15 tweets saying they played Alive...anyway I get to the end and see Broad Street Bulls post on how Special Teams were a key to victory over Red Wings...I said out loud "Bullshit".

    I missed a good 3rd :lol::lol:

Vinny Lecavalier has a non-displaced fracture in his back and will miss three to four weeks, according to Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren.
