Completely different team than we saw against Pburgh. I know there are some injuries out there(Giroux), Jagr looks useless, and the defense just looks terrible.

I knew this series wasnt gonna be a cake walk.

    Must win Sunday

The way they look I don't see them coming back from a 3-1 hole

They also can never win when they score the first goal. Cannot hold a lead for shit.

This is a very frustrating team to watch. Sometimes they play, other times they look completely lost.

Just not the same team as last series

No energy for most of the game and a shitload of mistakes

Maybe the extra day off will help this time

pretty much losing every battle for the puck. and don't have the stats but sure seems like they are getting smoked on face-offs. i'm still confident in this team. just going to have to gut out a 6 or 7 game series now.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Meszaros in game 4

Now Coots is probably out nobody they can bring in will help

    They'll probably suit up Holmstrom

LOLjia and Carle are just an awful pairing. LOLjia loses the one on one battle on the boards and Carle forgets to stay with Parise on that 3rd goal. I don't care if he scored, Carle has been awful this year. Where the fuck is Talbot?
    Alright, alright, alright!

Have to say that game was just bad, reminds me of game 4 vs the pens. they don't seem to have a flow yet. kept yelling at the TV during the overtime to shoot the puck on the powerplay. after the 2nd powerplay i knew they were going to lose.

Ilya played well except for that 1st goal which should have been stopped.

same team ... just playing against a different goalie ... ... i'd say around half the goals you guys scored on fleury were of the bad kind ... still tho - i'd be surprised if you guys didn't get past jersey ...

i'd like to see them get the game more physical, and make it a little chippy out there.

Yeah the series is way too clean - needs to get a little chippy. Get under people's skin a little bit.

Don't know WTF happened to this team. The Devils could barely beat the Florida fucking Panthers.

We got all kinds of shitty calls in our favor last night too. You know it's going to come around the other way next game.

Really hope Couts is ok - that is huge.

    List of guys missing:

    Jagr
    Simmonds
    Hartnell
    Talbot

I'll leave Giroux off, hearing that he is nursing a hip or wrist injury of some sorts.'
Grossmann looks like he's still having concussion issues.
    Carle is, well Matt Carle

The team is not hitting or getting any kind of fore check going.

    Update on Couturier
    http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2012 ... dy-injury/
Couturier left Game 3 of Philly’s Eastern Conference semifinal with New Jersey midway through the first period after suffering a cut to his leg, courtesy Devils forward David Clarkson.

While the severity of the cut is unknown, it was clear the Flyers struggled without the 19-year-old defensive whiz in the lineup — the shutdown center had spent most of the first two games shadowing the likes of Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise (the pair combined for four points in Game 3, not coincidentally.)

According to Renaud Lavoie of RDS, Couturier “should be OK,” though his status for Game 4 remains up in the air. The Flyers don’t play again until 7:30pm ET on Sunday, which will give the laceration extra time to heal.

Apparently Couturier has a knee injury, Giroux a groin pull, and Hartnell a foot injury of some kind.

hartnell blocked a puck a few games back with his foot.

they showed coots skating off the other night and he could barely put weight on the left leg

big game tonight. since the big guys seem to be hurting we are going to need the 2 and 3rd lines to pick it up. here is hoping that the Flyers remember that you are allowed to hit players.
