    Congrats Buffalo.

Why thank you! However we haven't won anything yet, nor will we most likely. . . this year.

But how cool would it be if we did?

what a night. Gerbe is a dynamo. I cant believe they turned it around this season and made the playoffs. Not only that, they can still grab the #6 seed. Amazing job the owner did changing the culture of the team without revamping everything. He said this is going to be a winning organization and kept everyone in place, thus making them believe they were winners.

The Sabres could do some real damage in the playoffs. Especially if Miller is rested and on his game. The Sabres I think are 16-4-4 in its last 24 games vs playoff teams.

Have to root for the Sabres at least.

Only NY team that made it.

Dude, you're going to get there, I promise!

I would rather fight twenty rabid squirrels than have to accept that the Hurricanes made the playoffs.

What the shit? I turn on the game, I fall asleep, I wake up, the game goes from 0 to 0 to 3 to 3, Miller is pulled, Rivet is headhunting his old team, and Datsyuk possesses Stafford on his last goal, because I know Stafford can't actually pull off that move he just scored on.

    Wow.

miller played good. they pulled him at about the midway point. I think it was 1-1 at that time (maybe 2-1 Buffalo?)

Hope Carolina enjoys hitting the links. I think I'm just as happy their out as I am that we're in. This whole season has been a rollercoaster ride. I'm just going to enjoy the ride wherever it takes us in the playoffs. No expectations this year, just pure bliss by making it. It's been a lot of fun so far. . . and I went to three of those first home games where they didn't win at all at the beginning of the season.

Pretty good attitude, I've got near the same outlook for my Habs, although I don't expect to get out of the first round. Playing the damn Bruins AGAIN.

I think if they beat Philly in the 1st round, this season will be a huge success. If they lose I will be a bit disappointed.

I agree. . . I'd love to do something but I know that this is the very tip of the iceberg for what we can expect. I can't believe this happened this year. It just seems like yesterday that both the Bills and the Sabres were both in last place of their respective leagues and the guys on WGR550 were talking about how much their jobs sucked.

I've had my heart broken plenty of times before and I can take a few more times, but damn, wouldn't it be nifty if they actually did something?

it would be a little anticlimactic if the go down against Philly. Maybe if they push it to 7 games and lose, the season will seem like a big success. If they get out of the 1st round though, they are playing with the house's money

Ohhhh what I would give to go all the way.

The question is. . . Miller lets in two softies in the playoffs. . . do you put in Enroth? Does his name even come up? Lindy Ruff's job right now is a lot harder than it should be because he has two amazing goalies.

This is actually the best compliment any fan from any other team can pay me. I don't get worked up when people insult individual players or even the city. Buffalo isn't for everyone and I know that. Half of the morons that call Buffalo a shit town wouldn't last ten minutes there before their thumbs were in their mouths. Nothing makes me angrier when people talk bad about RJ though.

I don't know how hockey is going to continue once that guy retires.

Well, that's all water under the bridge now. . . unless we somehow meet in the eastern finals. How much of a ride would that be?

I don't really want it to happen. I think Buffalo vs. NY series could go either way, but with the netminding situations we have, there's the potential that games could go into double or triple overtime. My old frail body can't handle those kind of games anymore.
