About 30 minutes, 35-40 if I walk to get the metro. I take a bus, the metro and another bus. Don't mind it.

back in teh day when i worked .65 miles from the office, i drove......because it's the american thing to do.
Thought about moving closer to work when I was hired, but it would cost $500+ more in rent each month to live in the 'burbs. I'd rather stay in the city.
