I'd imagine it's natural to be nervous in this kinda situation... I'm nervous cos I'm meeting people who, through no choice of mine , could be part of my life for a long long time... people who have played a pretty big part in his life so far. But you're right, I'm much calmer about it today in any case! And fuck it, I'll be myself! It worked for him, right? :eek:

i understand being nervous a tad but just go on in and be yourself

whats the worst that can happen? (besides throwing u out of their house) lol

we're not meeting in the house... we're going out for their sisters birthday so they can't even do that

Oh I don't have to get drunk to scare them

Hahaha Jeanie... thanks... well I'm pretty sure it went well... considering the mother texted him Saturday morning saying (exact words) 'I really like Helen and think you should marry her and have my grandchildren' :eek: . His little sister told his other sister that I'm really sweet (the other sister and her boyfriend then went into fits of laughter ) and the dad was very very easy to get along with. I couldn't relax so much with the mother cos she kept giving out to them every time they swore so I really had to bite my tongue but I think it went well, lol. Thanks everyone.
