I don't know if they are overrated but I didn't find Funny or die and Flight of the Conchords funny at all... I have a blast with Conan O'Brien and Bill Maher though...
... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...

Has there very been a comedienne more lame than Chelsea Handler? I've never watched her show, but she keeps popping up everywhere, and I've become acquainted with her shtick. I usually know what she'll say before she says it. It's usually a comment about her drying up ovaries, followed by commenting how she'd like to sleep with whoever the flavor of the month "hunk" is, followed by her admitting she'd settle for whoever the trainwreck of the month is. Then she'll make a few comments about how much wine/vodka she drinks, then imagines what it would be like if she dated a rapper.
Actually there is one more lame. Lisa Lampanelli. Talk about a tired ass set she has. I saw her on "The Burn" the other night in the panel. Where everybody else was kind of off script, improvising, and burning each other in an off the cuff but topical way, she kept bursting in with pre-written, no segue at all, same tired ass insults she always has. It was painful to watch, especially for the other comedians.
"See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"
had a woman come into work one day "Ohhhhh! I'm soooooooooo excited?"
For what?
"Chelsea Handlerrrrrr live tonight"
i actually saw her stand up a few years ago (against my will) at radio city and it was fucking hilarious. happy i ended up being there and seeing her. her show on the other hand... wouldn't give it the time of day.

Huh. Go figure
incredibly vulgar, incredibly graphic. it was awesome.
I'm not sure if we should speak ill of the dead, but Rodney Dangerfield was the king of all hacks if you ask me.
Whoa, whoa, whoa...
"It's been a rough day. I got up this morning, put a shirt on and a button fell off. I picked up my briefcase and the handle came off. I'm afraid to go to the bathroom."
Cheers.
'Cause you don't give blood and take it back again.
Although I find Ron White intriguing, maybe not funny, but the dude supposedly died 8 times and never goes without a drink. (or did he give the stage-drinking up? not sure..)
THANK YOU!
I am a fan of Ron White,
+ do my best to keep him segregated from
the negativity wrought upon the rest o'
the Blue Collar boys.
I understand why people may want to dismiss him,
but I have dug his routines for many years.
Cheers.

A segment from his show back in 1977 I think, now he was one of the best ever.....

I'd also like to add Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White to the list. I can't stand their stand up and they aren't really that funny.
+1 too both
Lisa Lampanelli yeah you're funny because you swear alot big deal.
Jeff Dunham I'd like to shove those stupid puppets right up his ass.
Comments
Rove McManus, a little jerk who also thinks he is funny.
seriously though, CARROT TOP. WTF is that? I think he looks funnier now with his mouth shut than being on stag.

I like that shit. That and really dark humor.
I'm a sick bastard
muliplied by a factor of 3.
Some of the material is pretty sweet,
but he comes off as so very full of himself.
Ergh...
Cheers.
Does anyone still even like this guy?!!!
Anyone seen this episode of Louie?

As I said earlier, worth every penny. Very very funny comedian! Well worth the $50 I paid to see him.
It's actually what got me into Louie... He just happened to be performing at the casino when I was there!
