I'll start. Bill Hicks. Why? Too sanctimonious. Too "rock and roll". Too opinionated. Uneven material. And that mullet.

Your turn.

    I'll second that choice.

I'd also like to add Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White to the list. I can't stand their stand up and they aren't really that funny.

    Definately
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

They will be in history as some of the funniest shows off all time!

I'm shocked on how you could say that.

I remember a furore about him telling the ancient "fokker" yarn on the Des O' Connor show. It finished him on television. The irony was, Corporal Jones told the very same story on an episode of Dad's Army years beforehand, and no-one batted an eyelid. Dad's Army wasn't funny either, but it was less annoying than Boardman.

oh and Frank Caliendo.....while some of his impersonations are good, you can only milk them for so long before the act starts to become old and tired

2 shows do not make a comedy legend in my opinion.

I personally think Billy Connolly or Eddie Izzard would destroy Eddie Murphy in a stand-up challenge, well Billy Connolly would win and Eddie Murphy would be far too busy trying to coax the famous transvestite Eddie Izzard to come home with him. :)

That's unfortunately all I remember about Eddie Murphy. He tried to pick up a ladyboy hooker once didnt he?

His jokes are stolen, he takes 10 minutes to build one up, and he's just a fake.

Now Jeff Foxworthy hasnt been funny in 10 years, and he shows his ignorance whenever he opens his mouth about current events.
