I used to hide behind the couch whenever that video came on  Scared the shit out of me :D

I also used to be terrified of candy floss (cotton candy) and would scream hysterically whenever I saw it :D

it took me a few times to watch the video before i wasn't scared. i like the dancing at the end.

as for the cotton candy....i can't relate, but i am still afraid of the dark most of the time. :o

I also love listening to the 80's "Hair Band" station on SIRIUS.
I promise I am not gay. Married for 5 years and loving it!

i love a lot of the 80's hair bands....motley crew (mmm niki six), skid row, bad company, scorpions, etc. i usually just buy the power ballads cd's. i don't like ALL of it, just a few songs. ;)

Yeah, nothing wrong with the Eagles.

You might have a problem with the Journey thing, especially if it's "Don't Stop Believin"

That's a great song. At least it was back in 1982.

I was only 4 or 5 by the way I believe..... though it wasn't that bad right?

Me and my friend were going through some old old cd's of mine when I was a young'n. We came across Britney Spears' cover of Satisfaction-my friends a big stone's fan and was curious. So we sat there listening to it...and my older brother walked in....it wasn't pretty. And he was the one who got me into Pearl Jam was he started to question me and didn't let me explain.

yeah thats not so great, you don't even know the real trent reznor and you would leave him for your husband, don't get me wrong he is incredibly talented but the fact that you would leave your "sainted" husband for a guy you don't even know and who recorded an album in a house where people were murdered because it "fit their dark image" is kinda hard to stomach, but thats just me.
and that guys right, you should never be ashamed of the eagles ;)

Ah now hang on! Since when is it shameful to like Dirty Dancing??? :o I LOVE that film and that line was one of the best lines ever, lol. Although I blame Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman for my single status cos I’m still waiting for that :D THOSE FILMS FUCKED ME UP :D

‘You might have a problem with the Journey thing, especially if it's "Don't Stop Believin"’

And what’s wrong with that song? Yep, I have Linkin Park CD – although I really really liked ‘in the end’… I also have Westlife CD’s :o and I LOVE Andrea Boccelli - :o right, that’s it! I can never show my face here again :o

Ok - I loved Kelly Clarkson's song 'Since You Been Gone' .

    Here's the thing
    We started out friends
It was cool, but it was all pretend
Yeah, yeah, since you been gone
You're dedicated, you took the time
Wasn't long 'til I called you mine
Yeah, yeah, since you been gone
And all you'd ever hear me say
Is how I picture me with you
That's all you'd ever hear me say

    But since you been gone
I can breathe for the first time
I'm so movin' on, yeah yeah
Thanks to you, now I get what I want
    Since you been gone

How can I put it, you put me on
I even fell for that stupid love song
Yeah, yeah, since you been gone
How come I'd never hear you say
I just wanna be with you
Guess you never felt that way

    But since you been gone
I can breathe for the first time
I'm so movin' on, yeah, yeah
Thanks to you, now I get, I get what I want
    Since you been gone

You had your chance, you blew it
Out of sight, out of mind
Shut your mouth, I just can't take it
Again and again and again and again

Since you been gone (since you been gone)
I can breathe for the first time
I'm so movin' on, yeah yeah
Thanks to you (thanks to you)
Now I get, I get what I want
I can breathe for the first time
I'm so movin' on, yeah yeah
Thanks to you (thanks to you)
    Now I get (I get)
You should know (you should know) that I get
    I get what I want

    Since you been gone
    Since you been gone
    Since you been gone

I can see your point... it would have been far more accurate to just say I have a bad, mad crush on Trent. Hopefully it's just a summer fling :D

I don't know too much about NIN's early days so don't know if they actually had a recording studio in the Polanski/Tate mansion. I have read in interviews that Trent didn't know whose house it was until after he bought it (highly unethical on the part of the sellers if that wasn't revealed pre-sale)... and that he didn't have a problem living there until Sharon Tate's sister asked him during a chance meeting if he owned it to exploit her sister's memory. He said no, but that it was an important piece of American culture (I think because to many it showed a dark side of the hippie movement) and then he went home and cried all night. Now, he could be lying but I don't see why he would. He seems like a very honest person (not that I know him, of course).

Glad to see so many Eagles fans... I feel much better :)
