    i think its quite clear that what you're looking for isnt necisarily her, but another gorgeous girl who accepts you for who you are AND who you were.

    she was one of those but shes gone now and you should look for another person, because theres plenty out there who fit the bill. just gotta open your eyes and find one man.

    looking back is just wasting time. past relationships should help you have better future ones, not keep you stuck in regret

    while this is speaking from personal experience obviously, its nutn as extreme as ur situation to be fair

    so do you think you do? You dumped her one night years ago because you were pissed off... then years later you email her asking her to marry you.     I think he mentioned that every girl he dated since her, hasn't been up to her level so that girl must have made a major impression on him. Isn't that most girls do anyways, try to make the best out of a relationship like the guy will never find another girl like her again.

    Whereas, the guys, most of the time, we just sex! :eek: :o

    yeah well there is nothing more harmful to a guys well being than getting hung up over the one that got away!

    Yes, you were right about her response. Although, she sounds to kind-hearted to tell you to "go climb up a tree". She was just letting you know, you need to let go of these feelings & move on (as she has).
    Sorry about the "nuts" comment, I'm sure your a swell guy. But I was just calling it as I see it.
