    Had I watched the first one for the first time in my 20s, I wouldn't have made it through the first 10 minutes.. I think I can bear a Tim Burton movie.

    I dont know about that. im in my 30's and i watch the wilder version more than i ever did as a kid. Just a great movie from a simpler time. Flawless in my opinion.
    and i quit watching the depp movie halfway through, something i never do.
