    Lost to the Cardinals.

Last playoff victory was 1996. That's hard to believe!!!

Beat Minnesota 40-15 then lost the next game to Carolina 26-17 and it was the end of an era.

The Cowboys did win the NFC East in 1998, but no playoff win since 1996.

Were you alive for any Philly championship? The Broadstreet Bullies maybe? The Phils in 1980? The Sixers in 1983??? (What a great team that was!!)

face it. we haven't done shit on offense in over a month. plus we have 2 weeks off to get even more rusty. this is not the momentum we needed going into these playoffs where everybody in the nfc looks 3 times better than us. we're just not a very good football team right now. 32 points in the last 12 or 13 quarters ain't gonna fucking get it done. i'd like to be proven wrong.

There is no doubt they have looked like shit the past few games, but I am being optimistic (which is rare). It's true though, we have absolutely NO momentum going into the playoffs. At least they are friggin winning games and (until December) was fun as fuck to watch.

Have you noticed the usual ear to ear grin from Romo all game, winning or losing has been missing? Have you also noticed this is about the same time Jessica came into the picture?.....coincidence? haha

My friend (a vaGiants fan) has been talking shit all month....usually when he does this the Cowboys end up pulling through.

yikes....that is right. you guys lost to jake plummer. well at least you have the dubious distinction of being the only team the cardinals have beat in the playoffs in the last 30 years or so!

I am trying to remain optimistic as well. It would be great if we see the cowboys at their best next week. It has been a different looking team the last month; I'm hoping it will change back or even be better. A healthy Glenn and TO together would be huge.

Been a slow week, but I finally found out why all the Roy Williams jersey's are on sale.....he's switching back to his college number of 38 next year.

Let's hope Garrett turns down these coach interviews and sticks around a few years for when Wade leaves.

Defense has got to get to Manning. And everybody we play for that matter. If the deffense does that and TO and Glenn are both there it could be a good day.

I hope so. Dallas has won by double digits in both games but TO was big factor in both. He will have to be as close to 100% as possible.

I agree, the defense has to pressure Manning.

Another good thing is that our OL has really handled the Giants DL. Osi and Strahan have been basically non-factors in both games. We'll see!

I saw Strahan call Romo "lucky" and TO "overdone" or something like that a little while back during an interview.....hope they set his ass straight. I just hope Romo hasn't gone too "hollywood" and stays focused.

I think that is just what he needs. He needs to get comfortable with the fact that he's banging Jessica Simpson. Then he will regain his focus. I can't help but wonder if he's just been all about that puss recently; I know it can be consuming.

    Alright, what does everyone think?

I worry about the Giants and I worry about them and they make me sick at my stomach, and then I sit back and think this: They had only beaten one playoff team this year and that was Washington, before playing Tampa. The Giants were 1-5 in the regular season against teams that eventually went to the playoffs. Tampa wouldn’t have been in the playoffs if they were in another division. They were a sorry excuse for a playoff team with a weak defense and anemic offense that benefitted from being division-mates with Atlanta, Carolina and New Orleans. Someone had to win that damn division.

Everyone says the Giants and Eli Manning are hot right now but they are 2-2 in their last 4 games. That’s red hot?! How, exactly? I don’t get it. Also, in the two previous games against Dallas, that so-called vaunted pass rush was a non-factor. Osi and Strahan haven’t laid a finger on Romo in either game. Dallas OL is much better than their DL and their secondary is as bad if not worse than Dallas’s. Romo’s best days have been his last three games against the Giants. I don’t trust the defense either but they seem to get to Manning. Yeah, he played great against New England, but they didn’t even blitz him until the 4th quarter where he melted down.

Shockey isn’t playing and he torched Dallas last time.

I don’t buy into the whole “tough to beat a team three times” theory. Get this: 53 times has a team met another team three times in the same season. Out of those 53 times, 11 were sweeps. Hold on though, in 17 of those of those chances, one team was up 2-0. And 11 of those 17 ended in three game sweeps. So really, teams are 11 out of 17 when trying to complete a three game sweep in one season.

All that being said, the TO thing worries me, but not too much. I think the Cowboys are being less than truthful about his status. But the key to this game will be Witten (who the Giants have not been able to cover) and MBIII (who the Giants can’t stop).

There is no excuse for Dallas to lose this game. None. They are the better team with better players and better coaching and are at home. And don’t give me that whole “Giants are 8-1 on the road this year” argument either. Guess where the “1” came from?

i agree. i mean... the game should end up this way. if anything worse can happen it means the cowboys choked. and if they're seriously "trying" to win a superbowl then they should completely dominate this game. but as you say... if they don't, there are no excuses. and i think for the most part coming into the playoffs the cowboys haven't been playing as expected. they've been tormentingly disappointing. i mean to the point where you might have to rethink their entire strategy.

Kind of crazy timing to be doing this in the playoffs, but . . .

Jules Jones is benched and MBIII is the starter today.

I guess Jones was really the starter in name only anyway.
