You can't get any from or do any with all the stuff named after former slave owners in the South.....for hundreds of years they were the only people down here with money and/or education.

    Beat the Giants.
The Ole Miss stuff, as it pertains to the University, is definitely true, and I have a 580 page dissertation written by Joshua Newman to back me up on it. If you want I can ask him where in the historical record of the school he found it...I'm pretty sure it was in the late 1800s when it came about. I can also direct you to the project (which he cannot find a publisher for because its not economically smart for a publishing house to produce a book that calls out an entire university for being racist) if you are interested. Anyway you are right the main issue is the Cowboys beating the Giants.

Tie game at halftime but I don't feel real good about this one. Despite a pick and some sacks, the Giants are having their way on time of possesion.

Kevin Burnett better not be on the field in the 2nd half. Way to single handedly swing the momentum back to the Giants, dumb ass.

Alright, I stand corrected. Way too much Romo and too much Owens and too many Giants penalites and dumb plays. Nice win. Series sweep for the year and full control of the NFC East.

Eli Manning is not now and never will be a big game QB. And the Giants score 3 points in the 2nd half. Three.

I think the top two teams in the NFL are now New England (1st obviously) and Dallas. I think we could beat Indy if we had the chance.

    Bring on the Redskins.

Hey as a New England Patriots fan the Green Bay PACKERS aren't too bad at 8-1 with a shutout today of the Vikings.

First I was pretty close on my 31-24/24-17 prediction (should've said cowboys, but I think it was implied), second pretty sweet win for the cowboys this week. I went to the Washington/Philly game today, because I live in B'more and didn't get the Cowboy game, and I have to say that Washington is not the type of team to beat the Cowboys. They have a fairly strong running game, but James Trash went down with an injury late, and the rest of the receivers looked their age for that squad. I think we will let them stick around longer than we should, but in the second half hang a good 34-10 pasting on them next week if things go the way they should. Of course, last time I thought that I watched the Buffalo D and Special teams nearly outscore Dallas for the win, and Washington's D, and ST are not so bad...so hopefullly Dallas won't be stupid. We just gotta keep it going, and hope that Green Bay finally slips up again, even though they are probably just as solid.

G-girls are the biggest trash talkers in the division. Nice quote by Osi:

"They're absolutely not a better team than us," said defensive end Osi Umenyiora. "They may have played better today in the second half, but I'd never say they were a better team."

Umm. Dallas beat the Giants by double digits, twice.

Hey genius....you have played them twice this season, and they beat you the same way both times......your unit, the defense, was torched for nearly identical numbers in both games....that's not luck where I come from.....

yeah but have you seen the way the cowboys play as opposed to the packers?? you're right though.... they're not too bad, or too far behind. cowboys have great offense and pretty damn good defense... the kind that wins big games.

I don't know. Dallas usually drops one of the Washington games. Those games are unpredictable no matter the record of the teams. Weird stuff always seems to happen.

Dallas never seems to win in Detroit either so that could be another loss.

    Maybe Green Bay.

Of course, I thought they would lose against the Giants this week too, so . . .

A couple of good articles in this morning's New York Times about the game....the locals weren't real happy with the home team getting flagged THREE times for Delay of Game......teams making the leap to the next level can't shoot themselves in the foot like....especially at home!!!

This is a season of nemesis games...even when we were the best team in the NFL the 'Boys couldn't beat Miami (think Leon Lett), Buffalo (not counting the SB), Detroit (think Barry Sanders), and Philly (especially on the road think Emmitt getting stuffed on 4th and 1 on our own 30), and we've been able to get by them all pretty easily. I'm guessing the season will end at 13-3/12-4, even in their SB years that's where the Cowboys were at I think (Maybe one 14-2).

It's kinda funny, but without New England this year Dallas would be hyped as an all-time offense (32 pts/gm), but alas, New England was allowed to keep playing after getting caught cheating. I guess it was the equivalent of letting Bill Clinton stay in office - "everybody does it" ;). BTW I'm NOT republican at all.

Haha...I still have a chance at winning the G-men under 8.5 wins for the season, and the Eagles over 8.5.
  • I was on vacation and missed this game completely. Plus, I moved last week and the dish isn't set up in the new house, so I didn't get to DVR it. I heard the analysts saying that NYG just couldn't stand up next to Dallas in the second half, and Dallas just looked like a superior team. Sounds excellent. I hope they show it on NFL Replay this week. Anyway, do yall agree with the analysts?
