Exactly..although I think our next two are tougher than the Pack's next two but they should win them.....if we get back to playing the way they are capable.

I have alot of relatives in Texas and none of them are into NFL, one went to UT and another plays high school football but they all seemed very uninterested in football otherwise.

romo ain't cocky.... i don't think so. someone who i think eludes with cockiness is tom brady. even though he tries to be modest... there's always a cocky vibe coming from him. romo seems to be pretty genuine. i also think favre and manning are pretty descent modest fellows. but im not so sure about tom brady.

Tom Brady may be the cockiest QB ever, I have a strong disliking for him. Romo has that cocky smile, I think its just a Dallas thing to be cocky, TO fits in perfectly with them.

no way! romo is a simple guy.... i only take his smile as a dork's smile. romo is a dork to me. and very lucky he is where he is. plus, his father was born in coahuila, mexico... the same state my father was born in. dorky people... i'm telling you.

He was actually raised about 20 minutes from me, even played us in high school because his school is the same conference.

Romo isn't cocky. I think he's thrilled (and a little surprised) to be where he is.

    And really, who wouldn't be??

    not so much

he is third generation and doesn't even like to talk to mexicans
he is from wisconsin and likes to distance himself from anything that is hispanyo

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Romo

anytime anything remotely "MEXICAN" shows up on his wiki page it is quickly removed.. I guess it's by his people

you can't really blame the guy

where'd you get that he doesn't like to talk to mexicans? he's got a mexican last name.... can't really stray too far from the hispano (not hispanyo).

I live in Dallas and Romo dines at a Restaurant my uncle owns sometimes twice a week. He doesn't speak a single word of that mexican talk and doesn't care for for the mexican bus staff who tried to talk to him once.
He is really receptive to people who come up and bug the shit out of him if he is seated where he can be seen...but mexicans ... he seems embarrassed or trying to distance for them
but seriously ... can you blame the guy
  • BTW...

Do you think Roy Williams will get a suspension for the horse collar on Mcnabb??
and if so , can we as fans rent Sean Taylor's house in Miami for Roy to stay in and hope for the same results?

i'm not sure if i should be offended by what you've just said.

i'm mexican myself. if romo would have certain issues with mexicans i'd say it be strictly his business. i just can't see how you'd say "can you blame the guy" as if to say there were something wrong with being mexican-friendly.

what is it you're trying to say?

i know many mexicans who can't speak spanish themselves... doesn't mean they distance themselves though. perhaps you're interpreting it all wrong... i wouldn't know myself. my uncle doesn't own a restaurant that he goes to.

Look people, some teams just match up better vs. certain teams. We seem to always have trouble with Philly. Favre always has trouble with Dallas. It's just how it is in football. Our defensive scheme doesn't suit Favre's eye.

That being said, Romo played like my ass yesterday. He needs to dump Jessica. Girlfriends are a curse to this motherfucker.

How they bounce back against Carolina is going to say a lot. If they come out Saturday night and struggle with that team, then I am going to have some doubts about any kind of post season success.

I'm not sure if they played well, or the Eagles offense is that bad.

BTW, Roy Williams is suspended one game for the horse collar tackle on McNabb. A tackle I saw at least three times in tonight's Bears/Vikings game and it was never flagged.

That hurts because Patrick Watkins is hurt.
