have you guys felt frustrated like this all year? im curious. the cowboy fans i know in philly all walk around thinking they are the greatest team in the league all the time. it is refreshing to see you guys admit that they are a bunch of frauds.
just felt that way ever since they lost to the eagles actually... their offense started going down afterwards.

don't think they're frauds, or depends what you mean by it. i just think they're bigtime chokers and am not completely surprised they lost in the first round division series.

i particularly hate the fans that would tell me to chill out after i started complaining about the cowboys and how terrible romo was playing after that eagles loss. i definitely hated it... i'm an honest person and i like to see things for the way they really are. and i knew this was coming. i defenitely knew it... let's see how chilled those "chilled out" cowboy fans are now. if i were the coach i'd of defenitely given them their speech of a lifetime. the speech woulda been so fucking horrible that even their wives woulda gotten headaches... hell, even their own kids would have bad dreams. that's how pissed i am at this loss.

i mostly think it's a really really sad, sad, sad, sad season.. because after all the hype and all the attention the fans were giving them in the end not even a single playoff win. that's truly devastating. cowboys shoulda won... but their balls shriveled and manning and the giants had the bigger balls in this case (figuratively speaking of course).

i am not looking foward to a bounce back in next season. fuck them.
This isn't the land of opportunity, it's the land of competition.

some players gone from roster should be Williams, now he can't stop the run, Jones, doesn't let holes develope then hit them, Fasano wasted third round pick, especially when you got the best TE, Carpenter, wasted first round pick, needed a WR receiver or safety help, Glen, with this knee problem who know what to expect.

Jones will be gone. He is a free agent that won't be back. I don't know why they didn't make Barber the starter earlier.

    Roy Williams can suck it.

Terry Glenn probably won't be back either.

Jaques Reeves - Don't the let door hit you on the way out.

    They need corners and receivers.

Thanks. Maybe they will learn from it because if there is one thing this team did this year that I really disliked, it was looking ahead to the Super Bowl. They really began to believe the headlines and really bought into thinking they were great.

nothing better than patrick crayton, aka ashy larry having to eat his words. and i love wade phillips comments about how the better team lost on sunday and that they outplayed the giants. i think he needs to take a course on what it means to be a team because the cowgirls definitely didn't play like a team since november....and sorry but the cowgirls did not outplay the giants despite what wade's imagination may have led him to believe. games are won and lost on the scoreboard, and the fact is the scoreboard had the giants winning the game fair and square.

Still crazy to me how the team led in time of possession, total yards, passing yards, rushing yards, third down conversions, first downs, etc., etc., etc. And the defense would only give up one 2nd half TD. If you had told me all of that before the beginning of the game I would have said the Cowboys win by 20. Just crazy. But that is the Cowboys for you.

Probably my final post on this thread.

Start a new one next season.

    Thanks everyone.

i hear ya. that was a rough loss, and it's good you don't make excuses. because despite what wade phillips thinks, the giants won that game. now i will tell you how the cowboys won all the stats and lost the game. very simple. penalties, dropped passes, special teams, and the offensive lines inability to protect romo when the game was on the line. the giants just wanted it more and played (for the most part) mistake free football. cowboys did not.

You can mention a few big plays where if Dallas comes through they win. They really looked like a better team than NYG. Dropped passes, retarded penalty, bad throw,,, but none more than f-ing Patrick Crayton not finishing his route in the 4th. He finishes his route its a touchdown. They siad it was an over throw but the replay showed Crayton got past his guy then stopped going down the field. He fucking studder-stepped or something. And his other drop.... not feeling good about Crayton's performance. The Giants did enough to win. Romo should have fired the ball somewhere when the rush got there in the 4th. Several were open.

Oh well, it's over for this year. Don't really care who wins the superbowl. I guess anybody but NE would be alright. Don't like GB, but Farve getting the superbowl would be cool at this point in his career. And beating the Undefeated NE in it.... that would be crazy.

well welcome to every eagles fan's 2007 world my friend. we experienced that same exact scenario every single game.

it all comes down to the o line and your recievers. your o line sucked on sunday. what like 10 offsides calls?!?! romo was under durress much of the 2nd half. and to wasnt at full speed which reallly helped a banged up giants secondary.

maybe you can get that playoff win next year though!

have you listened to sports talk radio in philly over the last 3 years? birds fans clearly dont think they are the greatest team in the league. we're as frustrated as these cowboy (real texas people) fans seem to be--which is refreshing considering how all the cockroache fans in philly act all the time

    Maybe against the Eagles!!

The false starts were almost all caused by Gurode not snapping the ball correctly. There were a couple where the whole line jumped. The OL did suck in the 2nd half. Might have been the first game I've seen where an OL dominates the rushing game and then THEY get tired instead of the defense.

Drops, drops, drops. According to the stats there were 5 dropped passes. Two would have been for TDs. The slant by Crayton and the goalline drop by Fasano. Romo had one pass slip out of his hands on what would have surely been a TD reception by TO on the crossing route.

The receivers never broke their routes when the Giants blitzed. Romo's final throw was to Terry Glenn - an injured guy taking his first snap of the drive on that play.

I still hate this team very much right now.

right. your post sounds like every eagles fan after a loss this year. we have arguably the best rb in the league, yet reid still elected to pass as much as possible. and of course everyone complained about the dropped balls all year long.
    always next year!

I still hate this team very much right now.

i hear ya. that was a rough loss, and it's good you don't make excuses. because despite what wade phillips thinks, the giants won that game. now i will tell you how the cowboys won all the stats and lost the game. very simple. penalties, dropped passes, special teams, and the offensive lines inability to protect romo when the game was on the line. the giants just wanted it more and played (for the most part) mistake free football. cowboys did not.

I couldn't agree more, it's too bad people are blaming Romo, because if the rest of the team play as hard and with as much passion, they are probably playing Green Bay this week.

Someone posted this on the New York Giants thread.

I thought it would be a nice cherry to put on top of this disappointing season.

Also, someone tell me when they are going to hang this banner in Texas Stadium next year. I want to be sure to get tickets.
