No, he wasn't married before Sun. And, no it wasn't Sun in the hospital. He was visiting a "work associate's" wife and delivering the panda to her...on behalf of Paik Automotive (hence the BLUE bow).

Ahhhh...I thought that was Sun in the hospital. Oops. :D Thanks for clarifying oh Lost expert.

How is that a clue? Again, I'm an idiot. :D Help me out.
well, assuming he was being truthful about being married for 2 months, that would have meant that he and Sun would have only been married for 2 months. We know that they were married for a lot longer than that prior to the island, and he delivered the panda for Sun's dad. He said he was working for him the the ambassador. Unless my other post about Jin hoaxing his own death, I would think that this means his was a flashback.

But hell, I don't know. Everytime the shows ends I have to take a shit!!!! SORRY FOR THAT!

All I can say is wow. That was a great episode - but I wish the writers wouldn't play with us like they did w/ Jin & the panda!

Didn't they say that we would find out the last of the "Oceanic 6" last night? If yes, I have to conclude that they counted Aaron.

I must say, I was very sad to see that Sawyer is not one of the six.

Well, Sawyer would have been welcome to come stay at my house if he needed a place to hide...but he'd already said he wasn't leaving.

I'm pretty sure that Jin is dead. I don't think Hurley was being unkind to Sun or dense when he said "Let's go show him." I think it was the gentleness of someone who doesn't want to say "dead". I'm not sure, but I don't think he ever said to Claire that Charlie was dead, he just hugged her and cried. There are still odd pieces tho' when he asks if anyone else is coming...to what? Jin's memorial?

Are there any takers on my pal Sharon's theory that it wasn't Michael we saw last night, it's a grown up Walt? (Be nice, Sharon's pregnant and she admits that she has some odd ideas funded by heartburn).

Yah, but a girl can always hope :) As long as they keep going back to the island (and as long as he didn't die!)

As for the Michael/Walt theory - it looked a lot like Michael to me.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure this one out. They were both dressed to impress. He's also seems to be of sound mind unlike the last time we saw him in a flash forward.

The twist at the end of last night's episode was great. I didn't catch on until the grave scene. When Jin said he'd only been married 2 months, my first thought was that he had remarried. I had to watch the last 10 mins. again.

Kevin Johnson looked different than I remember him.

It's funny the people who pop up on that show...The women who jumped off the ship was in Quentin Tarantino's Deathproof. To be honest though, Im a bit tired of Lost. The only reason I still watch it because I have been watching it so long..what can I say, Im not a quitter...
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

I think he meant was anyone else coming to see the baby.

    1. At the beginning when Sun asks Kate regarding Juliet telling Jack the poison gas house was a power station..."why would she lie to Jack?"
And Kate replies "force of habit"....classic stuff, maybe the best non-Hurley/Sawyer line in all 4 seasons.
    That was awesome! Classic.

See, I thought he came across as very nonchalant. There was no gentleness or compassion, just nonchalance.

I assumed Hurley was asking if others were coming to see the baby.

Whether it was the baby or a memorial to Jin, I wonder why Hurley was happy that no one else was going.

  • Kate
    Hurley
    Sun
    Jack
    sayid
    oceanic 6

    aaron-survivor of the crash
i do believe that someone mentioned the previews said something like
"next week, we meet anothe SUVIVOR of the island.." and that was the episode aaron showed up. so aaron is a survivor and not an oceanic six.
techinicalities but this show is all about the devil in the details.

    xxxxxxxxx-A
    xxxxxxxxx-B
two people who survived the crash but died on the island as revealed by kates flash foward.

desmond- wasnt on the plane. could be alive and not an oceanic 6. could be alive and never told to be alive to the outside world.

ben- alive. definitly not an oceanic 6. no one in the outside world even has to know about ben

julliette- could be alive. again not on the plane. world wouldnt care. julliette has proven she would do anythig to get off the island. anything.

walt and michael- alive???? they could be alive and going under the name of kevin johnson. it would be like michael to be like "what kinda crap is this. everyone gets millions from the plane crash, but i am stuck being kevin johnson , janitor. " or thinks its his penance for killing libby and ana lucia.

alive and not a shock to the outside world any member of the others or the boat crew:
i know this isnt a reveal, but that means faraday still has to get off this island(which is hard) faraday seems like a stand up guy and the watching world likes him so its easy to think he might do something brave, heroic, awesome, to save the 6. like let himself be the constant for whoever, at the risk of his own life or something. could you not see the 6 being flown off the island in a helicopter watch faraday as he is slumped against a tree bleeding from his notrils, waving for them to go....(maybe its just how emotional this seaons been)

so real time order of the flash fowards.
sun -couple months off the island
    kate
    jack

hurley was before jacks but after sun. dont know where hurleys is before or after kate's.
    no clue wher sayid's goes.

what if this was a jin foward. every 5 minutes, we would have just seen a dark screen.

so jack goes to the funeral of ......
    not kate -still alive
    not aaron-
    not hurley- casket was normal
not sun- wasnt in china. -although i guess that could change but she is in china now
not jin, jin is already dead by the jacks flashfoward.

so the funeral is for sayid, or jin is not one of the oceanic 6.
funeral could still be for ben.
funeral could be for julliett.(if she lives) would explain why jack was emotional and kate didnt go.

and a final note. how come no one is worried that faraday and charlotte are wondering outside the camp. last time i checked they hadnt killed smokey. or maybe more polar bears. or roussou's baby doll traps. or the others (last i checked there is still a camp of them) the boat people arent the only worries for our losties.

No, she died, but before she could say anything about Michael Dawson..

God, I hope they kill off that annoying fucker.

I only have one episode left for season 2.. The nerd in me bought Season 3 on Blu-ray today, so I'll be going from watching it on my little laptop to 1080p. :D
