I think last week's episode was good, but like others said nothing about any mysteries was revealed. The ending was good and the physics experiment by Farraday added a lot more questions, but this episode was more about setting up future episodes than giving us substance. And you need these kind of episodes to make it through a season and complete storylines, but it was the weakest so far this year.

- anyone think that frank lapidus might be the person in the coffin? he's from new york.
- jacob's cabin moves around the island and only appears at night, which would explain the reason locke and ben thought it was in a different place than where hurley thought it was. also, ben "marked" the last spot he saw the cabin with the ring of ash.
- also found this for anyone that wants a quickie lesson in alternate time/space and event horizon.
(who creates elaborate alternate time/space diagrams for a tv show and then posts as a theory? that's obviously a rhetorical question and no, it wasn't me).

yea i agree it was average at best too. last week, while being interesting, didn't really get us anywhere... it created more questions. i feel like we were getting answers.. well if you chose to interpret them.. but last weeks was just a cluster of happenings that we can't do anything with yet...
i mean where in the future was this? before or after jack? why ben? whats the time thing all about?
i just felt like it was a filler.. something to get us to next week.. and they are setting alot of things up.

Yeah, it's 7 episodes to start. Then 6 to finish.
They have 8 in the can so the first episode after the break will be the last episode they currently have filmed.
i think once the oceanic 6 are all revealed, the story will move forward a little easier. in order to find out the other four members (in addition to jack and kate) they sort of needed to have an episode like last week.
just wondering, how come no one really seemed to complain about hurley's flash-forward episode.
so this week appears to be the kate flash-forward episode. jack had his in the finale last season. that just leaves the other two members...right?

I ran this theory by the Lostie's at work...and after the first initial groan response, they thought it had some merit.
I think Kate's flashforward will be her trial, we're going to be meant to think it's for her father's murder, but I think it's going to be Sawyer. (Now, whether she really killed him or not is up in the air in my theory world...she, too, could be trying to protect the people left behind on the island...assuming there are any).

Such as the jury believes that a pregnant woman saved all those people on the island? And that Kate was fleeing the Marshall while pregnant?
The prosecution really must have presented a worse case than Marcia Clark to allow Kate to plea like that.
Obviously, I know Kate wasn't pregnant. But how could a jury possibly believe the above?
