This is just a random question, but how come Rousseau neve found any of the stuff in 16 years our gang has found in 3 months. You would think eventually you would just explore the island.
I've wondered that myself...but since no one else seemed to have that thought, I just ignored it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed!!

That's why I think Locke is a good choice for who is in the coffin because he is not friend or family and from what I remember from his flashbacks it makes senses that no one would come to his funeral because of how isolated he was.

I TOTALLY agree!! I've thought since day one that's Locke in that coffin.

Someone mentioned Michael earlier too. I think he would work from not being "friend or family" to Jack, but I think other people would show up at his funeral.

Maybe it is an Other in the coffin which fits both criteria (1. not friend and family to Jack and 2. no one came to the viewing).

Yeah, I've heard several people suggest it might be Ben...but he doesn't want to leave the island. wait..neither does Locke... But, anyways, I STILL think it's Locke...I KNOW it...just like I KNEW Jack and Claire were siblings.

I don't think Rose (and Bernard) are going to leave the island...because of her cancer disappearing.
she said she wouldn't go with that man (locke), though, right? i thought they went into jack's group...

and good morning to you, too! :)

Yes, he's from Tustin...and from what I understand...Jack's in LA now (in the flashforwards).

Yeah, but Jack got off...and so did Hurley...who was in Locke's group. (Which totally confuses me by the way!)

Btw, as for random flashback appearances, I found out that the guy who was videotaping Hurley when he was arrested was his old boss Randy from Mr. Cluck's Chicken Shack and Locke's boss from the box factory.

No problem. I forgot to post this the other day, but was that Camaro Hurley was driving the same car he and his dad, good old Cheech Marin, were fixing up? Is that how Jack knew instantly who was in the car?

I don't think it's ever been addressed. I think I read an interview or something awhile back that she was supposed to return for a flashback or something this season to help explain more of her background. But who knows if that is going to happen.

Also, it looks like the writer's strike may end sooner rather than later:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/02/business/media/02cnd-writers.html?ei=5065&en=d216cf201ee94ac2&ex=1202619600&partner=MYWAY&pagewanted=print

Of course the actors and actresses go on strike in June if they don't reach a new contract so who knows what is going to happen in Hollywood anymore.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was the same car too. I don't know how Jack would know it was Hurley just by seeing the car though.

I had to wait until Hurley's fat hand came out of the window for me to know that it was him.

I have a question that has never been addressed. Why was Libby in the mental institution?????????

This is one I've been wondering about for a while also. The way they cut that story off without ever explaining it seemed odd. I hope they do revisit it at some point.

BTW, this is my first season of watching Lost in HD. Makes the experience even better, especially with some of the shots.

I have a 160GB video ipod and I put a Lost episode on it. It is much clearer than my TV. I don't know if it is HD, but it's great.

I really need to get HD before this show ends!

OMG! I KNOW!! I don't have HD at home...so when I watch it again the next day at work it's like watching it all over again in HIGH DEF!! CRAZY! :D;)

Seriously, though...it really makes it that much more intense!
