Yeah, that would be crazy-talk!! I don't even flip on commercials!!!!

I rarely watch it live. I DVR it and start watching about 20 mins. into the show. That way, I can fast forward through the commercials.

If I had a DVR I would, too.

I think a lot of people do. It's amazing how many posts go up on this thread from the time the show starts until the next day. I like to read what people have to say when I get home from work the next day and there are always several pages to comb through.

I like the LOST reference they threw in there:

"Charlie's imaginary band will not be playing and what he wrote on his hand the last few things he was not saying."

I miss it as well. I loved Lost Wednesdays.

I do wonder what happens if the strike does end this week as expected. Will ABC move Lost for Grey's or will it move Grey's?

the only four shows i watch - scrubs, the office, lost and grey's - all on thursdays. it's overload!!

i don't care where they move it, but it'll be sweet if the strike ends and we get a full season. that tease last week made me realize 7 more episodes is just not enough!

Interesting theory. I personally don't think the "6" will include Michael or Walt. I think those 2 got back to civilization and Michael didn't tell anyone about the island or the crash, in fear people will find out what he did to Ana and Libby. I do however think Sun will be one of the 6, with or without Chewie.

I agree....Michael and Walt are a piece of the puzzle, but they don't fit with the "Oceanic Six." Wouldn't the press have a field day with Michael for basically selling out all the other survivors????

I think Claire has to somehow be involved in the Oceanic 6. I mean didn't Desmond's vision include Claire and Aaron getting on a helicopter? Charlie would have died in vain if they aren't rescued.

Claire and Aaron might eventually get off the island on a helicopter, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are part of the Oceanic 6. Perhaps Claire is left behind, but is one of "them" that Hurley has to go back and help. The first episode called the Beginning of the End, or basically the middle!

My thought is that yes Michael and Walt made it off the island but they were picked up by the freighter. That is why Naomi was sent to find the island with the helicopter. So Michael and Walt still haven't made it back to "civilization" and won't until the other 4 are taken off the island. As for the press having a field day, as part of being rescued from the island, they all agree to not mention anything about their experience after the crash, which is something we have already seen hints of with Hurley, Kate and Jack.

Also, it could be Michael in the casket... given what he did on the island, there would be alot of resent with those who got off (Jack saying not friend or family) and would probably be alot of regret on Michael's part for what he did..... again MHO

There is going to have to be a lot of water go under the bridge before the other survivors make pretty with Michael......Walt as a kid gets a pass....but I could see a lot of story involved with Michael and the survivors making a pact of any kind.

I don't think there would have to be... the people who rescue them apply the right kind of pressure and the 6 agree to not discuss anything about their time on the island. After that, the 6 go their separate ways and can choose who or who not to have contact with. No need to make pretty or nice and even forgive.... just go on your way and never talk about the experience.

yeah, only thing is...if it's michael in the casket that would spell bad things for walt. no one showed up to the funeral, so where is walt? michael wouldn't leave the island without him....

I think something happens to Michael and Walt and I don't think it's having the freighter people find them. The reason is there will have to some sort of mystical island power type thing to explain how Walt grew 2 years over the span of 2 months in "lost show" time and I think having been on a freighter probably won't be the best explanation.

Not a bad theory at all

As for Walt getting older... time moves slower on the island than in the "real" world. It's an easy and simple explanation but it works.

Excellent point. I think Claire has to get off the island with this helicopter because it goes along with Desmond's vision, and his vision has never been wrong.

interesting theory.. the only thing is i just dont think ben would just let michael and walt go.. i really dont.. ben wouldnt even let juliet off. im wondering though what did happen to them because we saw how crazy ben got when he found out locke had "powers" that connected him to the island.. so we can imagine he wasn't too fond of walt.. just a thought though.

i agree it also could be michael in that casket.. or walt.. the newspaper did say "a man from new york".. they are the only 2 that we know of so far.. and it would come out of left field because we have sort of forgotten them.. but then that doesnt explain why jack would want to kill himself over it.. yet :)
  • I can't wait to see how Michael and Walt are going to be brought back into the show... it's only a matter of time I say. And that thing with Libby in the mental institution, they can't let that go! But they probably will.

I feel that Hurley and Jack want to go back to the island because they did some bad shit to get off of the island in the first place. Not only is there guilt for what they did, but there are most likely ramifications interfering with their everyday lives. In a way, it's like they never left the island. Something will always be there to haunt them until they go back and remedy the situation if that is even a possibility.

I know a little about Michael. I don't want to spoil it so if anyone is interested pm me!

  • I want to know, but I've been so good about avoiding major spoilers lately I feel the need to not indulge in your news.
