No problem, I just wanted you to clarify and see that you didn't suddenly become a WVU fan.
I like WVU okay, I have to somewhat but I still want UL to beat the fuck out of them.
That being said, UL still gave up over 450 yards to UC and still won in spite of b/c BRIAN BROHM is that awesome. Our secondary is on par with the local high school team but fortunately WVU is pretty one-dimensional, offensively.
Hey Fanch, Senrock and I were grocery shopping for dinner stuff last night (for our Friday Vinyl Nights) and we saw this guy at the check out stand. He had to be about 60ish and he had 4 big ol' bottles of Natty. That's it, nothing else...........SENROCK and I just looked right at eachother and at the exact same time said "FANCH"
We ROCK!!

So you would steal your rival, West Virginia's, victory celebration after big games?
actually, i'm pretty sure ohio state has trademarked that game response. we did it for victories, losses, or just the hell of it. they had to clear the streets with tear gas FOUR times during my freshman year... even in the spring after football!
Is he the big receiver? I think I remember him from a couple years ago.
Yeah. Huge potential talent (he was likened to Randy Moss his freshman year), but the thug factor has taken its toll on him this year. He hasn't played the last few games; the stated reason is "turf toe" but it's rumored to be more reprimand in its nature.

This article is a couple years old but gets the point across:
West Virginia officials move to snuff out couch burning
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Fire officials in Morgantown, W.Va., have ordered the removal of all upholstered furniture, debris and flammable objects from porches in city neighborhoods with high West Virginia University student populations in an effort to put a damper on the outdoor furniture blazes that have become a tradition.
The move comes as the city, known as the couch-burning capital of college football, prepares for the West Virginia-Virginia Tech game Saturday.
"The reason for the order is based upon statistical fire data gathered following major rival football games or other sporting events," Morgantown Fire Chief Dave Fetty said. "Data says there are particular areas ... where we can expect to have illegal street fires."
Students celebrating wins by the Mountaineers have a long tradition of setting street fires, often with cheap furniture dragged from their rental homes.
A report in Tuesday's Morgantown Dominion Post said the city led the nation with 1,129 intentional street fires set between 1997 and 2003.
Residents who don't comply with the order by Friday morning will be cited and their furniture hauled away.
Plus I like that one of the WVU football fan sites is:

The 12oz is very blue. You'd think you were buying some high-end beer like Bud Light or something!

I'll be at the WVU-Miss State game in Morgantown this Saturday. I'll take pictures if I see any burning couches.
ok, you got us beat we were more flipping cars and burning dumpster types. and it came in fits and bursts. that's a bad ass tradition though
