I'm not so sure Sam Fuld doesn't deserve a shot though... Then again we have enough unproven, young players to rely on (Theriot, Pie, Soto, even Carlos Marmol and Rich Hill are not sure things yet).
Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.
eddievedder1977... as far as Lou setting up Pie to fail, I don't believe Lou Piniella would do that to ANY player on his roster let alone the best young player in the entire organization. He is an honest man plus he isn't retarded.
Agreed, thankfully Dusty Baker is in Cinci to F that team up. How long before he completely ruins Cordero? I also think he will try and aquire LaTrine Hawkins!!!

Hopefully, nice lead off HR by Johnson today in Vegas. I'm just hoping it stays dry as I'm going to the game. It calls for 90% chance of rain on Monday. Luckily I have Tuesday off too and am staying down in Chicago, although I'd prefer they get the game in on Monday, as I'd have to drive home after it on Tuesday.

Woo!
Can't wait! I just hope the rain isn't an issue. I'd rather be a) at the game or b) at home watching it...but I guess I'll have to settle for ESPN's stat tracker/gameday thing.
What is your favorite gametracker you use to keep up with scores on the computer?
I've used ESPN and MLB.com's and both seem pretty decent. If I remember right one is much quicker then the other.
Fukudome best Cubs debut since Tuffy Fucking Rhodes! Wrigley is already a playoff atmosphere, all crowd chanting Fukudome, sounded awesome!!
6th straight opening day for me, and unfortunately the Cubs are 2-4 in those games, and even though they lost, Fukudome's HR was the best opening day moment in all my opening day's at Wrigley. I can't wait to watch this guy play the rest of this year.

I ordered a Cubs ticket for a game In August the day they went on sale.
I still have not received my ticket yet.
Should I be concerned?
I think they don't ship out the tickets until closer to your game date. I could be wrong though, I'd call customer service just to be sure. That's why I always do will call so I know that they don't get lost in the mail and I don't have to pay extra to have them shipped.

Expect them June or July if you chose snail mail. They will come and if not call customer service a week before the game if you dont have them.
