They will restart this one August 25th IN Baltimore at 6:05. All stats count, no players/pitchers that were pulled earlier in the game are eligible. The Sox will obviously be on the road, but bat last in the inning(s) for the suspended game.
The regular scheduled game is slotted for 7:05, but that will depend on upon how many innings this one takes to finish.
They're going to finish the game in August sometime when the Sox are in Baltimore. Baltimore wasn't scheduled to come back to Chicago this season, so they're going to pick the game up where they left off before the scheduled game that day in Baltimore. Hopefully that game will have some meaning that late in the season because I am not liking this offense at all right now.......
Wow, for as shitty as they've been playing they some how have managed to squeeze themselves back into first place.. The AL central is sucking so far this year.
That's 4 in a row since Ozzie went on his tirade Sunday! The offense is finally starting to catch up with the pitching staff. If we get both of those clicking at the same time, watch out AL............
Amid the Chicago White Sox's continually up-and-down production — after averaging 8.7 runs per game during a seven-game win streak, they scored six in three losses to the Tigers — Chicago made overtures to Kenny Lofton, only to back off because of his $2.5 million asking price.
With 2,428 hits, 622 stolen bases, a .299 average and .372 on-base percentage, is Lofton a Hall of Famer? In the opinion of Craig Messmer, whose "Stat One" is one of the most logical systems for rating players (combining performance and efficiency by doubling the net runs, adding complete bases (total bases plus walks, plus hit by pitch, plus stolen bases minus caught stealing) and dividing by plate appearances), Lofton falls just short.
His 1.000 career performance/efficiency average is slightly better than that of Dale Murphy (.992) and slightly worse than Fred Lynn's (1.009). Neither of those center fielders is in the Hall.
Then I'm sure they'll feel right at home at Wrigley. In the words of Kenny Williams: "Happy Anniversary"

I wouldn't be too proud Cubs fans. Had not for that freak inning, Sox would have won 7 to 2.. I still don't know what the fuck Ozzie was thinking leaving Contreras in there.

Objects in your mirror, are closer than they appear!!!
Go TWINS!
The gap is narrowing, but I think the Sox can take care of it.
Finally a win. Things back to normal today. Sox win. Cubs loose.. how about a sweep this weekend to make up for last weekend!.. I'll be at Sundays game!
I hope both Chicago baseball teams do well this year. After a piss poor season from the Bears, us Chicago fans need something! The Cubs and Sox doing well will be great for the city and for baseball fans!
I'm just hoping the Cubs do better!
Well.. so far you're getting your wish.. both in first, Cubs doing better.
Finally!, the Sox are getting some payback from last weekend!
Good game today..
Yeah, much better.
Now to win the next two.
