i know its waaayyy too early to jump ship one way or another, but its always a good day when the SOX win, and the twins (81 wins), tigers (87 wins), and indians (86 wins) lose!
that starting pitching for the sox has been THE best in baseball the last week. once that offense starts kicking, look out!
Contreras pitched well again today. Maybe I am wrong about him. I really don't know who's offense looked worse today Cubs or Sox.....getting schooled by Kyle Loshe is downright depressing. At least Sabathia beat you guys.
White Sox put Podsednik on DL; call up Logan

The White Sox placed outfielder Scott Podsednik on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, retroactive to April 16, with a right adductor pull and recalled left-handed pitcher Boone Logan from Class-AAA Charlotte.
Podsednik, 31, is hitting .303 (10-33) with one home run, two RBI, three stolen bases and six runs scored in 10 games with the White Sox this season.
Logan, 22, is 0-1 with a 2.16 ERA and 11 strikeouts in four relief appearances with Charlotte. He has allowed eight hits and four walks. Logan gave up no runs in nine spring training outings, allowing just four hits with 10 strikeouts in 11 innings.
Logan pitched in 21 games with the White Sox in 2006, going 0-0 with an 8.31 ERA.
I hope Texas gets like a bunt single or something. Just a real punk-ass move by a Texas player.
How shitty would that be if you're the Chicago pitcher and that happened!
Ha!
I actually hope he gets it.
Too bad he gave up that walk to Sosa though...of all people to walk.
I'm sure most of you recognize me as the Tigers fan here, hehe, and trust me, I'm just here for information and intelligent conversation. How's the pitching/batting going for Chi? Pitching for Detroit has been GREAT for the most part, but the batting has been really, eeeeh. Today Bonderman gave up 3 hits and 1 run and didn't get a win. Batting has not been hot, that is unless they're giving up 7 runs, then they'll score that many. Anways, here's to this weekends series.

the best thing here is the W that seems to be in the bag, and the fact that they scored some runs (but every run in this series has been via the HR)
3 outs...hope he gets it!
i just love how the announcers just refused to say the words..."NO-HITTER"...
i watched from the 5th inning on.....
buerle made it look easy.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
9 IP, 0 H, 1BB, 1 pickoff
sox win 6-0! yessssss
right on speedy. i had the seattle FSN feed on out here last week when felix had that no-no going...and the mariner announcers kept saying "no hitter"
thats the one baseball superstition i go by. thumbs up to hawk and DJ
Even knowing he was going to get it, that last out made me a bit nervous. Gotta watch those slow rollers to third.
Nice job, though.

how about todd hundley and henry rodriguez?
There are some players that are just pricks on and off the field.
I'm not sure if I "hate" them, but I definitely don't like them.
