hmm... she is kinda cute, or maybe its just that i've barely seen another woman for weeks.

Wooho, now this is intriguing, we'll need a new thread for the juicy details though. ;)

I think when I was a teen I used to work with a lesbian at a Taco Bell (out of all the places a lesbian can work at  ) She was really a lesbian, butchy/girlie looking though. Like those raver-club types.

It's not always quite that simple. Once you hit your late 20's and have a busy work schedule, it really starts to get harder to meet new people. We all do what we can.

I know what you mean. I'm 25, in school and work, but I know you'll drive yourself batty looking for someone. I figure if I just live my life to the fullest, thats all I can do to make myself happy. Your right, it is harder to meet new people. The only friends I have are some of the people I knew from high school. I had some friends when I was in the Air Force, but trust was hard to come by with that crowd.

I know it's not usually recommended, but work has been quite good to me as of late! As long as you don't have a strict HR dept! ;)

The worst is when the HR girl starts flirting with you. :)

My rule has always been no dating anyone who I work for, works for me or works in the same department. That avoids a lot of the possible unpleasantries that can arise.

I think this is generally a good rule of thumb. However I refuse to listen! ;) Actually, in my line of work (real estate agent) if need be I could be working in a new office within a matter of hours if it ever gets complicated. So I guess unless you're also in the same situation, it probably isn't the best idea!

So I'm hanging out with some friends tonight (drinking) who seem to be amazed that I'm still single, "because of my looks and charm" (I'm flattered).. but got dissed because I resorted to online dating.. And their advise to me was walk around a college campus and "accidently" bump into girls..

Now ladies, is that the best bit of advice to give a few years gone by (I'm 29) post-college grad to meet ladies?..

If I shouldn't be meeting girls online, and I shouldn't be meeting girls at bars, then where the hell should I be meeting them at my tender, still young but almost old age???

I almost agree with them because he girls I've been meeting online have been single for a looong time, and not just because they wanted to be single..

    P.S. I've been drinking..

meet them whenever wherever you get a chance if you think there is a chance for you to start a conversation and lure her in :D then go for it! be it at the bar, college, internet, shop.....

    fuck rules and regulations

They do this speed dating thing in the local sports matches where the women stay in the seats and the guys switch around every time someone scores, fouls, or whatever.

I say, this needs to happen at a concert. 2 songs, move on. Another 2 songs, move on, etc.

So you go for those girls who are too busy rocking the fuck out to do much talking but throw glances at you and your eyes match and you find out you share the same level of rockingness!
