    Piper is on the mend :smile:

    here's the story....she threw up monday night and threw up some more tuesday and wednesday.....she also developed a nasty case of diarrhea and stopped eating....even treats!

    so, after deciding this thing wasn't just going to go away, Codie took Piper to the vet today....after an exam, poop sample, 2 x-rays and 400 dollars, it has been determined Piper had a bit of gastroenteritis and is now on cerenia and metronidazole. she ate tonight for the first time in three days! :triumph:

    Very happy your girl is getting better.

    Earlier I met my neighbor's new dog after he lost his older boy last year. Me, swooning over her. She, interest elsewhere :angry:

    I went through something like that with both Scout and Penny during the last several months.  Very scary when they won't eat.

    Cuteness, Jenny!

    It appears that black dogs (and cats) seem to be looked over when it comes to adoptions (at least here in the US), so it's always uplifting to see them in a loving forever home.

    Sammie and Timmie had a playdate today, it was warm so they had a blast in the water... Or at least four of the five dogs had, because Sammie isn't so font of getting wet...

    And yet she seems to spread happiness wherever we go! It's lovely to see how she puts a smile on people's faces when we're out walking. She always has such a happy face when we're out and about and people can't seem to help smiling back at her :smile:
