This is so cute I can't stand it.

Scout has a lot more time on his paws these days so he's constructing a tunnel to China.  He's very proud of his work.
Too bad you can't see how damn deep it is!  :anguished:

    to the goofs!

Speaking of which, I caught a portion of Pit Bulls & Parolees earlier during lunch.  Some heartless asshole THREW his Pit over the fence into Villalobos' yard, abandoning it, and later told the staff he didn't want the dog anymore because it "peed on his XBox".  He was the sweetest dog too - just loving and friendly and trusting.  And a goofball!

Much happier out of his former environment, I'm sure.

Some people don't deserve the beauty of these animals, let alone looking after their well-being.

    Speaking about goofs...
This pics were sent to me by my dog walker...
Timmie into action... can't leave the black lab in peace...

    So much in love...

BTW how can I add a video? The live action is even more hilarious as the pics...

The lab seemed to be cool with Timmie.

I'm not sure how to post videos other than youtube, but I wanna see!

I guess I forgot to completely shut the door. I tried explaining to her that just because I watch her poop all the time...

    I don't think she understood.

I don't think I ever posted a pic here. This was my sweet little Westie, Vicky, with my daughter a few years ago. (My daughter is pretty sweet, too)

Vicky, eh?  Two cuties there, often.

You too, WYTM.  Our cats do the same (scratching on the bathroom door; paint on it and the jambs have been fucked up for years now).

Yup, she came with that name. Since she was six when we got her it seemed unfair to change it. I lobbied for "Pixie" because i thought it suited her and was close enough that she wouldn't notice, but I was voted down.

Piper barges in, all the time. Gracie once slammed into the door so hard, the knob dented the wall when it flew open.

dogs think there is an exit door to the bathroom and are afraid you'll leave them

I thought maybe it was a herding dog thing but I guess not.  Some of our dogs have been really talented at opening doors.

Many attempts, but we have successfully prevented it for the most part. She got a small amount of paint off a baseboard. Of course as soon as I post this I will probably find something ripped apart.

She picked up on potty training really quick. The bulk of her accidents happened the first week. There's been one or two incidents when she was overexcited and piddled when there were multiple new faces getting her all worked up. For the most part, she started going to the door pretty intuitively. I'm happy to say she has not shit in our house once, or gone to the bathroom in her crate at all when she goes in at night to sleep. She barks when/if she needs to go at night for us to let her out and voluntarily goes back in.

In that respect, she has been a dream to train. Now if I could just get her to stop trying to drag Seamus around and digging in the yard!

sounds like Roxie is a superstar. Piper was pretty good but could be sneaky....like when she gnawed the coffee table as I rested my feet on it.

I snapped this today...it cracks me up when her tongue just barely pokes out.

Too cute, Roxie likes to sleep against things as well.

We got lucky with the timing. My better half was able to work from home a lot the past month and her brother was staying with us for a few weeks, allowing us to keep a good eye on her. Having a very well behaved old dog has helped us out as well. If she's awake she's pretty occupied with him.

I've had some smart dogs in the past, but she is head and shoulders above any of them at her age. The amount of commands she has learned at 12 weeks is outstanding. I'm not looking forward to the regression periods. It usually doesn't take smart dogs long to figure out there aren't any severe consequences when they don't listen.

She's a pretty girl (and she knows it!).

Hope all of our American resident dogs get through the fireworks OK with as few freak-outs as possible.

    Love Piper's tongue-peek, Wob.
