    rabies vaccines are very commonly reactive in dogs...less so with the other vaccines, Lymes, distemper, Lepto, Parvo, Bordatella, etc.

    Did your vet ask you to watch for any sort of vaccine reaction after the shots were given?

    No, but she wasn't my regular vet, one of the others from the clinic. I said something to her about how my other puppies have had a tough time with the rabies shot. Not allergic reactions, just seemed kinda worn out for a couple of days. The vet seemed surprised.

    I've got to make sure that I just see my regular vet from now on. He's great.

    Hello, i just wanted to share something that some of you already know. Some of you may not know this, but back in 2006 when Trix (my last dalmation) was around, i was told she had cancer. Deep magazine had a contest, name the pets with there owners and send a picture of your pet as well. Not sure how much time she had left, i sent a picture and low and behold she was in the Deep Summer/Fall 2006, along with other peoples pets. I still get tears when i look at this photo and how much it meant to me back then...

    anyways here is the picture taken from the Deep magazine...

    Piper loves sleeping ON the hearth. It's been one of her favorite spots since Day 1. she used to have to climb to get on it. :smiley:

    I think anyone who has a dog or cat is fortunate enough to have toys (plus in our case, paper balls) all over the floor.
