Yeah, it was Trooper from Maple Ridge...I don't think he'd been fed for about a month! At least they found the owner and are going to charge him with cruelty...hopefully they'll finally jail one of the bastards! :x

Haven't been here in a few days. Glad to hear good news about Gracie!

I went outside a few minutes ago to take pictures of some of the things starting to bloom in my garden. I was trying to get some close up shots and I heard Penny "talking" behind me. So I turned around and snapped this:

    DSC05841.jpg

This is her "Pet me" look.
I gave her a bunch of petting and a belly rub too.

He has the rough coat, but my female pure bread has the soft, and the markings on her back look like a dog paw... they are so loving and entertaining... :D

No new photo's but a few good ones. I must upload the latest ones. She can put her front paws over my shoulders already and give me big sloppy kisses :D

This one was from one of our visits when she was still with her Mum.

Although she's huge little Ringo doesn't take any crap from her. He's always beating her up if she get too big for her boots. Bubba been very tolerant except if there are any bones to be had. Then she get's cranky at her if she gets to close.

I think it's a Weimaraner. Our neighbour has two.

She's a Great Dane. She's going to be a BIG Great Dane too. The females are usually a bit smaller than the males but the breeder assures me that she's going to be huge. Both parents were big dogs!!

    OMG.
I'm so freaked out right now...

I'm at work and my brother just called asking what i fed the dog last night (nothing, just her usual dry food and i gave her a bit of ice cream!)

Apparently she's had a lot of blood in her stool today... I hope its nothing but i'm super freaked out because I've noticed some major signs of aging lately that just have come about quickly!! :( :( :(

I hope Sammi's OK!!!!! Gracie had this, too (twice). Different circumstances, but try either some canned pumpkin or give her (him? ) some Fibercon before you go rushing to the vet. Hopefully, just a little colitis. ((((((vibes)))))))

haffajappa, hope she is better now. I have been giving Trix some ice cream as well. I tell her she better finish all her dinner before I give her some. What's funny, is when I get the ice cream out, she rushes to finish her food so she can get some ice cream....

Trix has her good days, and her bad days. I really don't report the bad days, just cause I like things in here to be positive.

    teehee... sammi does that too.
Actually we have to do the reverse, to make her eat she needs her icecream first. Otherwise, she'll sit and pout and not eat.

Both my vets (primary and cancer) recommended it....what can happen is, dogs might be straining to poop even if they don't appear to be. The pumpkin (or Fibercon) draws water into the stool and .....WHOOSH ....out it comes! One vet said that just about any dog could benefit from a little pumpkin. Try a couple of tbsps on her food.
