too cute. Pebbles is a cutie as well! Good lookin family you got there!
He does look a little suspicious, doesn't he? Sasha's underbite gives her that winning smile all the time... at halloween, the kids always say she looks like a bat... too funny!
So sorry about your little Duffy... 16 years is pretty great... what a cutie! I like to think that our pets come back to us over and over in our lifetime. My husband is constantly calling Chase, "Pharoah" (his childhood dog).
He says even some of the mannerisms are the same... who knows, I like to believe it!

First off, what a bunch of awwwwwwwww.
I just had to ask, what kind of dog is Chloe? Our dog Chase is a rescue so we have no idea what mix of breeds he is, but, Chloe looks just like him, but with shorter hair. Everyone seems to have an opinion, but Chloe is the first I've seen with almost the exact same coloring:

They could be brother and sister!

hehe.
chloe is a german shorthair pointer mix.
adopted from the local animal shelter.
she *IS* a total beauty, with such a regal way about her....defies her humble beginnings.she may have been abused as a small pup :(...or so we were told, b/c she had some injuries, poor baby. however, now she lives the life of a queen as she so rightly deserves.
your pups are total cuties....i *heart* doggies.Stay with me...
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow0 -
Damn, I just found this thread! My two little Beagles are my buddies. Penny is 4 years old and Peanut is 3. They are attached at the hip most of the time, and keep my little daughter entertained as they run around the house together. Here's the picture I have of them at work here:
http://photobucket.com/albums/b163/SSmith88/?action=view¤t=Corvette0032.jpg
Penny is the one standing on her back legs. She is the brains of the operation. Poor Peanut got shorted in that department! Just ignore the car above them...it's another picture I scanned at the same time for my Dad. Great thread!0 -

they all deserve that, don't they! they told us chase was rescued from a local pound after he had licked some bleach or other cleaner off the walls and got really sick... the rescue group took him in and nursed him back to health and we adopted him his first week out... lucky us!

Yep, that sounds like a Beagle. That's why we had to get a second one. Another dog to pal around with.0 -
Wow there is a lot of beagles owners and Pj Lovers! I wonder what the correlation is.
We adopted Bart and Moose in October from a rescue (the only way to get a dog) http://www.colobeaglerescue.orgCan I get a spacious little hole in the ground? Somewhere nice?0 -
Sorry to say I don't have pics of my newest 2 greyhounds. However, here are some of my babies:

You can also see my 2 greys I had to put down last year (SOB!) and my oldass cat if you scroll thru the pics there.
Now I'm motivated to go get pics of Otto and Walker.

Did you rescue your greyhounds?
PissBottleWoman is into greyhound rescue. We don't have one, she supports the cause.
She produces the news here in Paducah. When she did the Mid-Day Show, she made it a point to incorporate the "Humane Society Dog of the Day". She's gone on to the 5:00 show, but they still do that at Mid-Day.

Yes, all 4 that we have owned have been rescues.Greyhounds are badass dogs; very misunderstood by most people. We have also fostered greys waiting for new homes.
So cool that PBW is into greyhound rescues, too. The more I learn, the more I think she and I are kindred spirits! And I LOVE it when news programs have some sort of dog spot. It's a great way to get those babies adopted quickly!

SO many cute little beagles!!!
I just have to repost a pic of Lukin!
He is SUCH a cuddler! He always has to be close to me! I wish I could afford to have two of them. Just one of them is enough work for me!
