Where are you going for Thankgiving?

If you're traveling this Thanksgiving, where are you going, and who are you going to see there?

I'm going to Michigan to see my Mother and Father in law. (Plus the two best golden retrievers ever!)

PS. the title should have an "s" in thankSgiving.. derrrr.. :p

    I wish I had the chance to do that in the city, but we seem to get shuffled between PA, and MI every other year.

    We travel every year to Eureka, CA. Behind the "redwood curtain", (That's a joke because cells don't work and it's a bit behind the times). Both of my sister-in-laws live there. Beautiful country and very fun to visit. Great hikes to Patrick's Point and beyond! :)

    Trust me.. I've gotten the guilt trip for months now. Sometimes we just switch on and off for christmas and stick to MI for thanksgiving because its too expensive to fly out there for a long weekend over a holiday. Wait till we have kids.. shit will hit the fan, hard.

    Thats when people can come to me!

    well you live in a GREAT city for that!! I'd come to see you if you were MY family!!!

    Turkey day is cancelled in my fam this year cause my cousin (answers are fatal) is getting her tonsils out THE DAY BEFORE :eek: poor kid (her doggie just died too:()

    I'm looking forward to volunteering, it'll give me perspective.

    Aw! thats such a sucky day to get your tonsils out. Turkey shake anyone?

    You'll have to have a christmas dinner instead. We're in Michigan for both holidays this year. I'm not exactly sad about it. My family is the definition of insanity. And I'm just talking about my parents and my brother. If anyone could go 5 minutes without telling someone else to go f- themselves.. it would be a miracle.

    they are all just FAKE smiles (my mom mostly)
    it gets under my skin! *someone's usually drunk my the end of the night due to the tension.

    i WAS traveling to CHICAGO for my bday/thanksgiving but......i chose kid rock instead! :D

    18? psshht, that's nothing. we usually have between 25-30 at my mom's house. with my in-laws and nieces/nephews my immediate family is now up to 16 and then throw in my grandmother and a couple of my aunts/uncles/cousins...

    i can't wait! i am counting down until thanksgiving this year!
