    thank you all so much for your kind words. Having support makes a world of a difference. I have been in Philly since Friday night so I am able to see him and I just got out of visiting hours. He had a bad night last night with blood pressure dropping and pain. His nurse told us it is impossible to ever fully take the pain away even though he is intubated and appears to be asleep to us. He does still feel things. He did have to have his pain Meds upped and they has to remove his nose intubation and re intubate through his mouth today. They said the tube is keeping his throat from swelling shut at this point. The bad news is today he is getting new blisters which allowed them to know that he isn't healing at all yet but still being attached by the reaction. He is a lot more swollen today and he is unrecognizable. They said at this point there is nothing more they can do and they just have to let this run its course in whatever direction it is going to take. They wont give us a prognosis rate at this time.

    Please pray, thing, wish whatever you may believe/do for him

    hi everyone. Today was a lot more if the same. He is still in critical condition and intubated. He isn't knocked out totally so he tries to tell us things with hand motions sometimes. If he's in pain the nurses can sedate him more. Today when I was alone in his room he woke up and grabbed me and tried to reach his tubes to pull out and when I wouldnt let him he tried to get me to do it for him. He gets very frustrated trying to tell us things since he can't talk. He signed for a drink and showed me pillows. But he's so loopy and gone that hes out of it. He is on amnesia (sp?) drugs so he will not remember any of this anyways. He is still getting new bubbles at this point which is a bad news. However he isn't worse in any other way. Its a lot of wait and watch at this point. We have to let it be what it is going to be as there is no medication and his treatments didn't have an effect yet.

    I hope the best for him and all of your family and you.
    If he's in Crozier, then he's in one of the best places around. Their burn unit is incredible.
    Let me know if you need anything. I live in Wilmington and I'm only about 15 minutes away from Crozier.
