Of the hockey I caught last night, SJ-Cgy was the most exciting.

I thought the Ranger game was more exciting being a Ranger fan.

But I caught some of the SJ-CGY game as well until my pain killers kicked in.

Well you being a Rags fan is what made it more exciting. The SJ-Cgy game seemed much higher in energy and tempo than any of the other hockey I caught, and I saw a bit of each (2 periods of the Shitsburgh-Ottasuck game) except only highlights from Col-Min.

there was a lot of hitting in the Ranger game and a few dandies. Plus a couple of sweet goals for not giving up on the play.

wow your hatred of teh flyers is really out there. the flyers are a talented team. have some really good players. i think the flyers rep is what causes peopel to think thatthey are dirty but i will say it again that the worse player is on the DUCKS and we all know who that is "MR. I WILL STEP ON YOU AND ELBOW YOU AND HIT YOU FROM BEHIND BUT ONLY GET SUSPENDED FOR 8 GAMES IN TOTAL" beacsue i am a great player.

That guy is pretty dirty, yep.
I'm no Flyers fan (see their thread, I gave 'em a good razzing over their cheap shots early season) but after the initial goon-fest in the first bit of the season they've been quite clean. In fact, they only have one player in the top 50 for hits, and he's in the 40's.

There was plenty of dirt last night, and they weren't playing.

I thought Volchenkov almost had his face taken off with that slap shot last night. My daughter was watching it with me and saw the blood and just froze! Thank God he got up.

Loads of energy. Hopefully they can maintain that level.
Calgary got outshot 27-3, yes TWENTY SEVEN to THREE, in the second period last night.
