Who cares about the hockey playoffs this year? Indoor lacrosse is where it's at.

Well after a shaky first period the Habs seem to have got their game back. Then again it was Boston they were playing. Could be a little tougher in the next round if Wersh wins tonight and the Habs meet NYR. Speaking of NYR will somebody just give one very hard whack to Avery's ankle and put the fuckhead out of hockey for a while.

I played a bit of hockey in my life and to be honest more then a few of the goalies I had would have chopped him down like a tree for acting like a monkey that just lost his way from the jungle the way he did with Brodeur. Just the way it is. You know the same as the hockey goon. Players ususally just take care of it themselves. I was really surprised when that didn't happen. Then again it was nice guy Brodeur. :)

    nice guy marty? the diver?

another guy full of class on the handshake line, piece of shit he is

the best way to get avery is to ignore him
    although he still can score

Brodeur hasn't shown a lot of class, either. Something he and Avery have in common.

And yes - Avery can score, so he has some redeeming qualities.

Yeah that was bad too. If he just took it into his own hands there would have been no handshake. ;)

I actually like Avery except when he opens his mouth and then his new thing that he did. He reminds me of Kenny Linsmen or Esa Tikkanen.

Sean Avery should have been banned from hockey for stomping. Get the trash out of the game.

I suppose, since you live in New York, that you condone stomping on someone's unguarded ankle with a hard, sharp, skate blade. Given that Avery works out, he could have probably put about 100lbs of weight/force into that stomp, or more. That wasn't even his first suspension.

Avery is trash. He has no respect for the rules, nor for other players. His own teammate (Drury) had to tell him in the middle of his hand-and-stick waving that he looked like a knob.

Us Canadians don't hate, we just want to maintain a bit of respect to our game.

  • Gotta love two game 7's in one night!!!

I'll be pulling for the Caps since the Pens will have their way with them as opposed to the Rangers.

    And go Flames!

    Completely true.
And the same is true for Brodeur (if his contract was ending, that is).
He's to you what Avery is to everone else, only better at his position.

Brodeur's team was among the front runners up to the second last week tho.
