The puckbunnies unite! The comments are priceless. Especially the girl who wants to cuddle with Morrow.

Puckbunnies? That's hillarious. I'd never heard that term before. I love it!

As a pens fan, I still don't know what to think about a Pens/Wings series. I knew the Pens were good, but they are playing above what I thought they could do, so who knows what happens in the finals.

One thing strange about watching the Pens, is that they don't seem to care to set the pace, or even care to dictate the flow of the game. They have been amazing at adjusting to how their opponents play, and get scoring chances regardless.

Their speed on the forcheck is disrupting breakouts, then they are clogging the neutral zone, and if the puck gets through to their zone, the rush is so disrupted that it usually doesn't result in much.

Detroit plays a similar style of defense is all 3 zones, so as high powered as these teams are, I wouldn't be surprised with low scoring games.

I watch the wings on a regular basis, if the pens use their speed, play 60 minutes, box out homlstrom, cleary and franzen in front of the net and most most importantly get 28-30 shots a game, then I think the pens will win, Osgood is a good goalie, but not great.

Wow, just wow. After Games 4 and 5 I certainly did not expect the Stars to go out like this. 4-0 in the 2nd period and they are putting up no fight whatsoever. Not moving Wings away from Marty, not putting bodies in front of Osgood. Just flat.

Alright, no shame in going out to the Wings in 6. They are clearly the better team so hats off.

That said, I feel really good about the Stars. They showed some fight in the playoffs and took down two really good teams on the conference finals. They had a big hill to climb and no one expected them to last this long. And they re-energized the Dallas sports scene which has seen nothing but first round exits and disappointment the past few years.

Their young core of players is signed for the next few years so they should remain competitive, and I can't say enough about Brendan Morrow as the captain.

agreed, that is great, Dallas seemed to be flat in terms of support and there were more and more grey seats along the first bowl during the regular season since the lock-out

agreed, Morrow is a stud, he really has impressed alot of people during this play-off run and hopefully cemented his spot on the 2010 Canadian Olympic team

I may be crazy but I like the Wings in 5. The Eastern Conference this year is the JV and I just don't think the Pens are that deep.

They're good enough to go 6 or 7 games, if not win it.
The thing about this matchup is that neither team has played poorly for any length of time (i.e. a bad game a series at best).

I'll agree with you there. The Pens are coming in red hot for sure as are the Wings, but I just don't think the East was that good this year.

I agree with the East not being that good this year, but the Pens elevated their game big time with the start of the post season. I'll be going for Detroit, but I won't be surprised if it goes the other way around.

And Marty has really shown what he's made of this time around. I'm really happy for them.

Brendan is rocking this joint, that's for sure.

The Wild are infinitely more exciting to watch than the Wings. The Avalanche - Wild series was the best series of these playoffs.

I will probably crack and watch a game or two these finals, but I expect to see the Wings suck the life out of the Pens by not showing any emotion, scoring 4 power play goals per game and winning the series with little hurrah.

Zetterberg's goal the other night was nice though. Score one for the grey guys.

Thanks. I didn't get to see the last two games of the Wings/Stars series so that's why I must've missed it.

I thought diving was discouraged in this sport? There were a couple of dramatic flops in this game.

Why am I watching this game? Seriously, nobody can tell me that they have seen an entertaining Wings game in at least 15 years. No retaliation. No aggression. No edge. Just 100% disciplined play and power play after power play. It's dreadful to watch. Even the players are bored. I saw Lidstrom reading a make-your-own barrel sauna book on the bench to pass the time.
