    The Capitals are horrible. . . I'm just going to throw it out there. They are a finesse team that doesn't care about defense and sometimes I even wonder if they care about hockey. Whoever gets the Caps first in the playoffs. . . christmas has come early. The Sabres should have beaten the caps if we weren't rolling our C-squad into the game last night. Any healthy playoff hockey team should be able to once again bid them a first round goodbye.

    Flashbacks to last season, our postseason aspirations coming down to a shootout with the Flyers,

    Had a lump in my throat when Giroux lined up for the shootout,.. :shock:

    Thank god Henrik was in his zone, for not only the shootout but the final momeents of Sudden Death OT as well.

    Will Pronger be back for the Playoffs? Looks like Philly really missing him, especially on the PP, and I wont even miss Danielle Brier as well.

    Now we need to beat the Bruins tomorrow , for another W and another 2 points on our tally.

    We needed that. But the Rangers changes on the fly are dreadful. One for a penalty. One for a goal. And the last bad one almost let the Flyers score the game winner. Get it together Torts.

    I know the OT point Carolina gets doesn't necessarily "help", but it helps a lot more than if the Sabres would have lost. Trust me, I don't want the Hurricanes in. I wish we would have won in regulation too.
