“I thought I was in position (on Boston’s goals), but there were a couple screens, and if you give up five goals you can’t be satisfied, obviously,” said Lundqvist (27 saves), who hadn’t allowed even four goals in any of the previous eight games in these playoffs. “But I’ve got to look at the way they scored the goals, too, and it’s about teamwork out there, and today that didn’t work for us in our own end. So I have to be better, and the guys in front of me have to step up next game.”
The Rangers just are not built to win up-and-down, high-scoring affairs, when their best player between the pipes becomes an afterthought.
“They had a lot of guys in front of me,” Lundqvist said. “I was trying to work hard to find pucks. It was definitely a tough game to play.”

i follow Ranger Nation on facebook and they just posted a report from TSN Radio that the rangers plan on firing tortorella if the rangers do not advance against the bruins.
