Wow, that might have been the worst period the rangers played all season. Shocked they made it 15 minutes.

They gave them too many quality shots. And made Rask's job easy.

these teams are so evenly matched.

    cant help but agree,
maybe game 2 will be a better outcome.

Rangers are getting absolutely nothing from Nash and Richards.

    $15M+ of nothing.

How about that turnover Richards coughed up in OT trying to made a pass behind hank, through the circles that got picked off and lead to a goalpost shot.

Shocked he saw ice time after that one :fp:

Jesus Christ, if torts is coming back next season he better bring in a PP coach. There's room on the bench for a PP coach. Enough, 2 seasons in a row of a team with an embarrassing PP. And Richie, wow, talk about falling off. He's most def playing his last games as a ranger. Turnover after turnover. Making dumb stupid blind passes that get picked off. I still believe we're gonna win this series but its so frustrating watch these fuckers play! Shouldn't be this hard to play, they're fucking pros. Get the shit right already.

    are you guys really panicking?

I mean yeah - the turnovers and all the sloppy play is one thing.
But we took them to OT the first game in their house,
and like round 1 it was just a bad/good bounce away.

Funny listening to NBC commentators talking about Zuccarello VS Chara.
    Funny stuff.

I know we are short Staal ( 1 of our workhorses )
but its crazy splitting up McD and Girardi.
I guess to match the heavy Boston linbeup its necessary.

    But no panic- not yet.

    Looks like a longgg series.

TD Bank was electric last night....I sat there thinking, damn, no way the B's aren't fired up....Just got reamed through ticketsnow for Tuesdays game, but what the hell, I love this stuff...

Walked around Boston yesterday for 6 hours in my Rangers shirt, my car (Ranger plates)didn't get keyed, just some razzing which I fully expected :) great day despite the loss.

Now I drag his Bruins loving ass back to NY ....LGR!

Torts Post Game 1 Presss Conference.

    http://blueshirtsunited.com/videos/3425 ... ZaFDLXvtBM

Wonder if it just coincidence that it seems like
Out of all of the different coaches post game press conferences
Torts is the only coach who doesnt allow the press corps to have/use microphones.

    wtf ?

Not panicking yet, but I will be a little closer to the edge of my seat on Sunday. Thought both teams looked pretty flat and was surprised at the lack of physical play. Weird game overall in my opinion. I think I am so use to the rangers dropping game 1's that last night isn't anything to get pissy over. Would have liked to seen Hank stop the Bruin's second goal, thought it was a softie.

Def a softie and the first one he had but sat and pushed it in for them. I agree, we always seem to lose game 1. I guess they love to play from behind.... ;)

Via Rangers: No lineup changes are expected for the Rangers in Game Two, though defenseman John Moore did lose six teeth on Thursday after taking a puck to the mouth
