i'd like to see the hawks make a nice long run out west. although i'm not a fan, it's exciting when the team in your city performs well (this mentality applies to all cities except boston teams. fuck those guys.).

These couple extra days are nice to have with Staal, Dorsett, and Clowe so close to returning.

Looks like Haley will be getting some time in though

    ive heard some about Dorsett.
Looking forward to seeing him and maybe even McIlrath.

Same...and Segal was great in HFD.

Wearing my 'good luck' Cally jersey to the work and all day tomorrow...worst case is they don't win tomorrow and then I can wash it and get the 85th Anni patch sewn on:)

It was but he did put a glove on one and the last one he probably saw it too late because of the screen. I could barely see with all the replays

i don't know if you guys saw more/different replays on the MSG broadcast, but out here watching the game on NBC, they didn't show us much that proves that should have been a goal. really weird situation... where did the puck end up? holtby's jersey? pant? his body was pretty close to over the line, but when you can't see where the puck is, it clearly isn't conclusive.

but you can't look to that play. hank should have stopped both the second and third goal. on the second he had the angle advantage and the puck went through him, he can't get beat like that. and the third goal as my blackhawk friend said was very "corey crawford" like. :fp:

i do think the rangers did a lot of good things though... i expect this series to be even going back to the garden for game 3.

Is it possible to decline penalties?
Almost a full minute 5-3 then a 5-4 with basically nothing....Here's my armchair PP coaching speech "Brad?....shoot the fucking puck"...so many times it's like he is waiting for the screens to move or dance around them, or passes it back and one where he almost passed it out of the zone (thanks Girardi)

Anyways, I thought the Caps would take game 1. It wasn't all bad and I think this goes 7. Hags had a good game. Zucs was good ( I am split with have him shooting from the blue line).

Game 2, Holtby isn't a magician and Rangers win 4-2 :corn:

They sure did!! What a joke of a boarding call on Beagle on the icing, he barely touched him if at all. Might as well add the Fehr penalty for clearing Nash out of the front of the net to the bullshit penalties. You probably have a different opinion than me on those calls though.

Stepan looked like he was flung on that one play, Not sure if Hank slipped on a banana peel or was tripped up behind his goal, and Holtby said the puck was in his blocker the whole time yeah sure dude ...it was on your back>back was in goal, glove covers puck>glove goes in goal....however the puck could not be seen. :fp:
